We most certainly need more trading outposts yes. Trading is an important part of life in Tamriel but the number of guilds greatly exceeds the number of traders available. Therefore in any given week yes a large number of guilds are guaranteed to be excluded from obtaining a trader. Khajiit she thinks this is not right.
Khajiit has also heard rumours of dubious goings on where a guild is formed and then later dissolved so it can act as a back up trader bid should the preferred one not be obtained.
Therefore khajiit she suggests the prompt construction of some caravanserai. Several new trading hubs. Perhaps one for every zone. Retail destinations yes also perhaps with accommodation and food for travellers.
If there is not room on the existing landscape then perhaps some new trading islands? Perhaps even find some way of integrating the trading system with the housing system as this would provide greater trading space within Tamriel. Of course for this to work you would probably need a permission system that allows all to enter unless specifically excluded.
Of course many would prefer the significant overall of the present trading system to something more global but we have been told so many times we are flogging a dead auction horse with this approach yes.

Last time I check there are more than 800guilds on PCNA that have ever win a bid. and of course the number is increasing.
Yet we only have like 100+ trader, and many of them located in the wild land and only purpose is let the GM tell others they have a trader, but doesn't sell any.
The current system is kinda fun, but it is hard for guilds with newplayers and casual players. Not saying it is unacceptable, but those guilds should have a chance to sell their things.
Just like in real life. Just like it always will be in any system that isn't controlled. If you assume that sales are distributed normally, integrate it and you'll see that most wealth will be focused at the top.Cherryblossom wrote: »
the wealth in a small percentage.
It's a megaserver. One AH would mean prices being too low. What you're saying is countered by the amount of stores - there are traders in different towns. A seller can always Players who have and want to sell things that are in demand are in trading guilds and looking for ways to sell. But yeah there are players who join trade guilds to empty their inventory and sell some random stuff that nobody needs - just whatever they pick up. Anyway, the supply of things in demands is just fine.Cherryblossom wrote: »Lack of supply as only a small percentage of the community can sell to the community, this results in higher prices.
AH wouldn't fix it. Nothing would fix it. That is supply-demand law in action. Why would I list something and waste a slot on something that won't sell? That also should encourage people to price their stuff accordingly.Cherryblossom wrote: »Lack of variety, as people will only put up that which sells easily.
They aren't controlled by anyone. Players can only have up to 30 slots per guild and only 5 guilds. You can't control prices like that. In fact, I know a lot of players buying gold mats and such pre-Homestead trying to then control prices and make profit after. But no. The supply is so huge that they are still dropping in price.Cherryblossom wrote: »Market manipulation as the prices are controlled by so few.
Yeah UI should be improved, totally agree. And no, not 2500 other members at best. You're forgetting about cyro traders they can always capture. And they can always join one of the guilds with a trader. Most of them are not full. I think you're overestimating the population of the game.Cherryblossom wrote: »it's a time waste for both sellers and buyers (not helped by the worst UI in any game)
Many who defend this broken system do so because they are in the limited Guilds available, they also forget that traders are a sticky plaster to the broken system at launch. (for those that don't remember, you were only able to buy from other guilds in keeps in PVP!)
for the majority of the community the best they can hope for is to be able to trade to 2500 other members, but who ever belongs to 5 full guilds!
ZOS doesn't care though, player experience is not that important it would seem.
@c0rpOne AH on a megaserver....LOL. These people have no clue what they are talking about OR asking for. I'd prefer to play a game that actually has some form of an economy that is not dominated by bots thank you.
