God, I hate this community. Complaining non stop about performance in Cyro, but if they do something about it, you complain as well.

For heaven's sake, the double AP will count towards nothing but rank ups of the skill lines.

If you people would pull your heads out of your backends and participate in this test, maybe they collect valuable data. And maybe, just maybe, this will be used for improvement.

Are you all by now just complain for complaining's sake? Just listen to yourselves.

    Doing something about PvP?
They've done nothing for the past 3 years NOTHING,and to test PvP stability they disable CP?LOL
Performance is so garbage and even with the next week testing nothing will change cause everyone is going to stay AFK at the f****n outposts flipping flags without touching eachother. In Cyrodiil I expect to fight not to bury the hatchet and be friends.

AP counts only towards rank ups and skill lines?Another ****y excuse to push more gold into already broken as hell economy, and for you info you can have unlimited ESO clients running, meaning next week there are going to be bots even Cyrodiil staying AFK at outposts waiting for clueless players flipping flags and get insane amount of AP.

And for god's sake learn the meaning of sarcasm.

LOL. If you go into Cyrodiil to simply go AFK, good for you. I go into Cyrodiil to kill the masses and actually play the game. to get zerged and then join the zerg myself.Nice to see all the PvE carebears in here complaining about ZOS actually putting more effort into improving the best end game there is :D (no it's not VMOL).

Don't even know what to say anymore.

I've started this thread by joke but it turned into a dumb fest.

LOL. I don't zergI'm zerg the leader. But good try carebear ;)
And who are you to say that I'm a carebear or not?

    Ouch. The man himself!

And what's the wrong thing about being a carebear?
Being a zerger is worse though.

Majority of player base is made of I lead the carebears. So chose your words.

Youtube link is in my sig, find me zerging. Please.

LoL your youtube doesnt mean anything.
1vX scrubs can be done by any average player and the amount of fails is higher than actual successful ones.

    Ps.no views for ya.

WTF do you think 1vX means? LOL.

p.s. It means NO ZERGING ;)

Making a 1vX video doesn't mean your not zerging

It does mean hes not zerging. If hes 1vxing, no one else is around him helping him kill people.

First off, everyone understands you just fine. Understanding you and agreeing with your premise are 2 very different things. Are there some issues with doing a double AP event? Sure. Are they as big a deal as you're making them out to be? Highly doubtful. Especially when some of the "problems" that you see are these:

First of all, hundreds of players will pour in Cyrodiil because of the insane amount of AP which will lead to at least 200+ queues in every campaign.
That's a good thing. It won't be a useful test if this doesn't happen. Try looking at the big picture of what's needed in order to get to the root of the performance issues and improve Cyrodiil in the long-term, instead of focusing on the temporary inconvenience you're going to suffer from having to wait a little bit to get into Cyrodiil over the course of a week.
    VoiDGhOs7 wrote: »
Second nobody will fight eachother since you get more AP by standing AFK than kill players.
Baloney. Some people will AFK and some people will just resource flip. Others will engage in bridge fighting, sieges, ganking, etc. There are going to be people doing just about everything that there is to do in Cyrodiil that week. Period.

Third the CP are going to be disabled meaning the data they're going to collect will be falsed and won't reflect the true conditions of PvP,as far as I know when you want to test something you want the worst conditions you can expect in such environment.
Do you really need to have the concept of getting baseline data explained to you? Because I actually already explained that in this thread, and I thought it was made pretty clear by Brian in his post explaining what they were doing and why. It's not a difficult concept.

Fourth,if anyone of you is so naive to believe that the community has a moral towards avoiding using exploits/broken mechanics then you should leave this game.Everything and I mean EVERYTHING can be abused will be abused and I can assure you that, and PvP players is in the 1st line.
From your posts evidently you'll be first in line to exploit rather than actually doing your part to improve PVP. It's sad that PVEers like me apparently care more about helping ZOS to get to the root of Cyrodiil performance issues than PVPers like you do.

I've done my part not taking part at BB mine but who said that flipping flags in outposts its an exploit?Isn't taking resources a part of AvA?
PvPers been trying to help ZOS since the beginning of the game but all the feedback got thrown out window,I'm totally up to fix performance in Cyrodiil but the way they're going to do it doesn't appear (at least to me)right, tell me how many players want to play in Azura with the old where some set combos are even worse than actual CP.If they want to do a stress test they should see the weekend prime times when there is between 500 and 10k ping with 5 fps with 3 factions stacked in last emperor keep, not by adding a double AP event where playing "Flip the Outpost" gets you 12k.

The only thing left in pvp is ap since alliance war doesn't matter anymore and by making ap such joke they're making everyone who invested their time in pvp meaningless.

Since there's going to be a double AP event starting next week, any chance to get a double damage event in vMoL just to bring PvE on par with PvP.

    /sarcasm

Nice way to make PvP totally worthless,is going to be fun to see people running multiple accounts on same computer to gain AP afk in some outpost!
    Just wonderful...
I would say u cant compare that, it would be more like get double loot from vmol but without cp. HF

    This. Isn't. A. Stress. Test.

This is a test to gather baseline data to be used as a comparison when they do future tests (some of which will be true stress tests). How are you still not understanding this?

If someone wants to run their electricity bill up by AFKing for 24 hours for what I could do with a decent PVP guild in an hour of play (and fun), be my guest.
You can make around 200K AP/hr afk.

So you can farm 4.8M AP an hour then?? Hmu :o

PvP is so not there for me (ever!) that double AP doesn't even remotely entice me to PvP. Have fun, though, all you PvPers!
