✭✭How do you get downloads on PS4 when in rest mode? Mine never downloads anything when in rest. Even when I had it on, and didn't do anything it puts itself to rest and then stops all downloading.0 -

ESO was partially the reason that I went with a 2TB drive. That and the fact that I got tired of deleting: Games, images, and videos saved if I wanted to play a new game. And boy oh boy did that make a dramatic difference.

It's a pretty night and day difference in regards to overall performance, in my opinion. Things do load a lot faster, and I'm faced with a lot less performance issues than I was on my regular PS4. The rendering is also dramatically better in places like Cyrodiil, as things don't look all blocky and distorted since changing. So I'd say it is definitely worth the upgrade in that regards.
Plus on a slightly different note, the PS4 Pro appears to make other games perform quite better as well. As well as look better too of course. Games like: Fallout 4, GTA5, Skyrim, Doom, and The Witness look incredible. Especially games like Titanfall 2, The Witcher 3, and Dark Souls 3. Those games perform incredibly smooth, and look gorgeous all the same.0 -

My wife and I play side by side on the same internet, me on PS4 Pro with 4k UHD, HDR TV and she with a PS4 on an HD TV. I have to play the game in the TV's "game mode" or I suffer SERIOUS issues in crowded areas. In "game mode", the graphics are better, but the graphics are MUCH better in my TV's "Dynamic" setting.
As for wayshrines, if we both travel to the same location from the same wayshrine, at the same time, I arrive and load-up 3-10 seconds before she does.0 -

Can't we are having fiber installed today so our internet has been out for over 4 hours. External HDD Support
It’s easy to upgrade the HDD that came with your PS4, but if you’re still looking for more storage space on the console, we’ve got you covered. With this update, you have the option to store content to an external HDD. Just plug a USB 3.0 HDD into your PS4, and voilà, you now have more space on the console.
This is compatible with HDDs up to 8TB in size. You can download and install applications directly to your extra storage, and the saved contents are easily manageable through the settings menu.
Also, all the applications saved in the external HDD will appear in the Content Launcher of the Home Screen so it’s easy to keep track of what apps you launched recently.
Please note: user save files are still stored locally on your PS4 HDD. Only games and applications are stored externally.
