need to go 4 armor and 1 weapons but I'm pretty sure its still horrid where it will keep dumping the second mundus if you use weapons. is this still the case?

As long as you keep the 5 pc bonus after switching bars your money Mundas will stay.

this.. so you need to make it 4 armor pieces and 2 weapons, one for each bar.
I use it on one of my stam chars, a bow on the back- and a dagger on the front bar - and never lost the 2nd mundus.

There is a known bug were you loose your second mundus stone after going through a loadscreen. This seems to have been re-introduced during homestead, but Gina posted last week to say they are aware of it and are working on a fix (No eta).

Interestingly, some people are unaffected by the bug, while others are affected at every load screen.

It's just like with every other set. If one of your set pieces is a weapon, you need to have it on both bars or else the 5pc bonus will be broken every time you switch weapons.

I know that obviously, its just even with that it seems to disappear on occasion, figured it was a bug due to having to overly patch it based on exploits.

Tbs 2nd mundus has always been lost if you use weapons and switch them.

uhm, not true..!?
If you wear 5/5 no matter what bar you're on the buff stays - i.e. if you have the same number of tbs weapons on both bars!

At least the "buff" stays in my list of buffs - so I always assumed the effect stays as well.

At least the "buff" stays in my list of buffs - so I always assumed the effect stays as well.

Yes if you have 2x lots of swords it should stay. I mean if you had only 2 and back bar was another set it was always lost.

phew, so you only you confused me. It's just.. with eso you never know. Could've been you describing a bug where the "buff" stays in your list, but you still lose the effect. I wouldn't be surprised, to be honest..

TBS is a very complicated set for normal life.

If you have for example multiple sets to swap from pve to pvp and one of them is the TBS then every time you equip that set you need also to go and pick up the boons.

In my opinion boons should not be a buff to the character it should remain attached to the armor.

Example: you have 5 or more pieces of the TBS equiped, you pick 2 boons, you choose from your equipment a piece of armor, if that piece armor belongs to the TBS you can put 2 boon buffs, if not then only one, from this moment anyone that equips at least 5 pieces of that set, included the piece where you attached the 2 boons, will automatically be buffed with the 2 buffs.

If you try to put a boon in a second piece that is equipped you get a message where the other boon in the other piece will be erased. If you unequip a piece of armor with a boon, then you put another boon in another piece and then you try to equip the other piece again, then you get the same message. This way we secure that in the end you can never have equipped 2 pieces of the TBS or any set or armor part with 1 or 2 boon attached in each, only 1 piece with 1 or 2 boons.

If you don't have a TBS, then boon is attached to an individual piece of armor that you can choose and when you swap gear, you have at least to equip that piece where the boon is, otherwise you have to go and pick it again.

They could do like when you pick a boon you get a mote in your inventory that you can use to buff a piece of armor.

Problem is: you can not have 2 TBS equipped never to swap to change 2 different 4 buffs for example, but actually is not a problem because is not possible now, so...

I know is hard to implement but could be a good solution To swap builds and gear.
