Craft Bag Mats Just Disappearing.

Ok, earlier today I got the achievement for gather 100 Heartwood.
About 5 mins after I got it I logged out.

Logged back in to make some furnishing, and noticed that my Heartwood is now at 32.

I have not crafted anything in 3 days.
I have not sold any craft materials.
No one else has access to my account.

Now I know ZOS like us to grind - but stealing stuff from our bags to prolong that grind is a new low.

@ZOS_GinaBruno can we please get the following:
1) Confirmation you are aware this is happening.
2) Assurance you are working on a fix.
3) A commitment to refund any materials so lost.

was there 100 in your inventory before you logged out.. I guess so or you don't realise the achievement started ticking from the very first one you harvested. not whats in your inventory.

I was aware of that, and looking back over what I have crafted I calculate I have used approximately 40 Heartwood.

Which still leaves me down by about 30 from where I think I should be.

if this happened as you describe you should report it in the bug report forum and in game if you want it to be more than just a forum rumor post.

Any idea why you did not mention knowing the achievement was 100 from start and that you had used some prior in the initial post where you call out ZoS for answers? Don't you think that info would have been helpful?
At the very least, i would include it in your official bug reports or posts to that forum. otherwise it might look suspicious.

As an aside, i have not seen any drop in my mats from mysterious bugs since homestead and i have been watching the newer mats pretty closely.

but thanks for the info. i hope once they determine a resolution you will share it with us as well as the complaint even if its a PEBCAK sort of thing.

If this is a PEBCAK issue I will hold my hand up to it.

Just to be sure I have even been through my house to see what I crafted and how many mats it cost.

I am still 100% convinced I am down on where I should be.

I have noticed multiple times my craft bag count on items changes and seems to come back randomly

So I'm a but obsessive compulsive when it comes to certain things and like doing my writs with each race's style materials, to make it so that I have the same amount of each race (or as close as possible) in the end.

However, I noticed yesterday that my altmer style material dropped from 36 to 25. I hadn't crafted anything before that. I know these style materials are rather worthless so I'm not miffed about it, but it does make me wonder... What else has disappeared?

you mean I'm not the only person who is obsessive/compulsive with my style mats?...mine is a bit different tho...when I go through my crafting writs, I try to utilize the mats evenly so as to have an even supply of each <g>...as far as crafting gear for use, I'm just now getting up to CP levels on most chars, so I'll be more selective on what styles I create for each char, but up until now, it was just a matter of using them evenly...

Actually, a few of us were doing nSO yesterday and at the end of the trial the weekly coffer reward which appeared on the quest giver never made it into our inventory. I have no idea what happened but at least 3 people in that trial never got the coffer (and yes I hadn't done it that week before and the quest giver gave it to me. It just disappeared once in my inventory!)
