Hey.
I like the idea of making frost staff to lean towards tankyness, but the taunt being forced to everyone on heavy attack feels to me, like very bad idea.
If i want to use frost staff, because i happen to like frost stuff, i am constantly taking aggro away from anything thats there with me, my sorc pet does not work at all with frost staff right now.
The taunt is nice feature.. But i think it should have been part of force shock morph or perphaps on impulse. The taunt is goodm but people should be able to choose whether to have it on their staff or not, the forced taunt does not feel very good.
The goal of this discussion, is to maintain taunt on frost staff, but find an alternative to heavy or ligt attacks. Most likely an ability morph on frost staff, that allows taunting with an existing ability. The taunt needs to make sense from NPC perspective as well so it has a viabole reason why it is taunting the enemy to attack me. Someting, that makes sense on game mechanics, does not always make sense outside the efficiency and performance part.
Heavy attacks replenish resources, this is why they need to be without a taunt, they need to be usable on any situation with any weapon type.
