Judging from what they've said, it isn't. 4vs4vs4 battle arenas.
Indeed. 4v4v4 battlegrounds, featuring 3 maps set in the Ashlands of Vvardenfell, and 3 game modes. The game modes revealed so far are team deathmatch and CtF.AzraelKrieg wrote: »Judging from what they've said, it isn't. 4vs4vs4 battle arenas.Hopes it's not another imperial city reskin.AzraelKrieg wrote: »Well it is a new PvP mode. Yeah it is. Any action that results in you entering a new zone (be it wayshrine, transport service, or walking across the zone border) is called a "zone transfer".In spite of the announcement talking about "transferring" characters to Morrowind I'm pretty sure it will work exactly like the DLC zones. I think that's just a generic word for using a wayshrine/quest/boat to get there.

So characters will be able to travel to Morrowind and back as they want, and when they're not in Morrowind they'll be able to meet up with people who don't own Morrowind.
The one difference to a DLC is that apparently new characters will have the option of starting on Morrowind instead of one of the alliance zones. I'm not sure how that will work yet but I assume it will be explained to us before release.
@MUSTACHMAN654 No, that was Solstheim. If you remember looking southwards from Raven Rock though, and seeing a smoking volcano, that's Vvardenfell.MUSTACHMAN654 wrote: »So, is Vvarenfell the island that was featured in the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC? I've been wondering what that island was. I wonder if there will be a DLC in which we go to the maromer homeland.Next time you're in ESO open up the map, zoom out to all of Tamriel and look at the Pact area. It's kind of a U shape around the coast, with a big island in the middle. That island is Vvardenfell. It's the biggest chunk of the province of Morrowind but it's mostly taken up by a massive volcano so most of the settlements are around the outside.

I sure hope so. I think ZOS needs to move off Tamriel and into other continents and planes like Coldharbour (right click on the map and see there's lots of room for Coldharbour-like, extra-Tamrielic zones to put in more little circles) so they can move away from previous, lore-constrained content and make their mark with things wholly original.
