If you queue for veteran mazzatun with 150 cp, I understand them. There is normal and vet dungeons. Everyone complains they dont have a group etc, but they dont want to work for it. If you are low cp, just do normal dungs or quests or whatever, try to do a vet dungeon with people with same cp as you. Thats how we had to learn those dungeons in the first place. Maelstrom arent even a challenge anymore. I havent done maelstrom in 8 month, and went to do it because of the collectible. I didnt know anything. I just ran around doing dmg. 3 heavy attacks and the boss was dead.
Basically, for elitists as you call it, there is 4 veteran trials with hardmodes. Sanctum the easiest one since there is no dps race and you can recover from deaths. For you casuals there is like a million hours of content. Why dont you do those? Why do you have to start the game and ignore those content ment for you, but want to step into the hardest part of the game?
I gave plenty of details I said low level vet dungeons, this has nothing to do with wanting the game more casual do not jump to assumptions now. You need to understand the difference between a challenge and elitism, elitism is all about the attitude.
And you listen to me as well. If you want challenge, go with players with same cp and experience as you. Also, I have met elitists with better attitude then you.PC, EU server, Ebonheart Pact

Oh it absolutely has an effect if the developers listen to you. Even if nothing changed, but a number of people came in here to lap at your heals and congratulate you for being so brave in the face of big bad elitism, it would effect your ego for sure

Dude... Just... No. There's no reason needed to call someone a peasant, and try to belittle a person over a video game. No. That's not right, bruh. And while I too have issues with a few 'casual-oriented things' (I just recently actually made a thread about my dislike for bow builds), I don't go about intentionally trying to make others feel beneath me. Nor do I go about calling others peasants. I have all earnable skins (outside of the IC skin dropped from Molag Bal), have Flawless Conqueror and all other titles (save for Dro-m'Athra Destroyer), BIS gear for days, and so on. But still. It's a casual game, and 99% of the players won't grieve you because of your CP and lack of skill if you acknowledge it and do your best. I just recently came back to the game and I feel like I'm crawling along. I'm an altoholic, but my characters are around 10ish. Hard to comprehend cp100, let alone 600. Also hard to imagine that there are so many at 600 if its as slow going as being a noob. lol

Yeah I came back to game about 2 months ago as well, came back with Cp 100 and already about Cp 385 just casually grinding dungeons doing dailys every day on my 100s and waiting for enlightened boosts.0 -

✭As a high CP level player, I agree. People use CP as a metric of whether you're any decent or not... When in reality, it's just whether you've been playing long enough.
I know the points do make a noticeable difference but I take issue with that too... Because it's incredibly intimidating to new players. 600 levels where you have to earn at least 300 before you're considered viable for the PVP campaign? This, the real problem is not the good players, they tend to be as nice as any random player, they are random players who is good in the gameIt's anecdotal but in my experience there were more people claiming to be good but weren't with low cp than capped cp.
If you are real good you don't bother to queue in random dungeons anyway.
The real problem is the ones who are not good however they might believe so, they also tend to queue for stuff too hard for them. veteran DLC then they should stick to normal dungeons.
Either they want to go for hard content to get monster helms fast or they really believe they are good because they can kill questing bosses.
Known for being very aggressive and want to pin the blame on somebody and not simply bad tactic, typically behave elitist in that only dk can tank and bows suck, dying while standing in red, healer suck.
For real fun they don't know boss tactic.
Not only an ESO problem just as common in WOW.Grinding just make you go in circles.

User_Name✭✭✭Last time I tried using the group finder for a random dungeon, I was 350CP and got kicked from non-vet Spindleclutch 1 before it even started. I can solo that dungeon in 15 minutes on the character I was queuing with, and I am in no way a "good" player.
Clearly players aren't mature/reasonable enough to handle the group finder tool in it's current form (PS4 here, might be a contributing factor).
When I sit down to play a game, I don't do it to get scrutinized and receive approval from 15-year olds hyped up on sugar, XP Scrolls and Skyreach farming; I do it to play the damn game. A game which is, when it comes down to it, not all that bloody difficult, really.
I don't think it is reasonable to say that players like me have to conform to the more vocal players and get on the grind train just to get approval and be allowed access to easy-to-complete content, it's terrible game design. ZOS should either group players of similar CP or just not show CP at all, that way those of us with low CP can just lie and say "Oh, I'm CP561" and no one will ever complain.

Elitism combined with the renewed need for it with things like Shadows of the Hist dungeons, and the increased health and resistances with the One Tamriel update, one of the worst updates for endgame PVE in this games history, is what's making me look for alternatives.
I'm done with this game and likely wont buy anything reguarding endgame until some glaring issues with this games PVE endgame are fixed. Namely, there is no neuance with difficulty. You either play on vet, run meta, and do whatever you need to, or your relegated to normal like everyone else. This games difficulty system needs an overhaul.
Until the difficutly system has more nuance then 'run what the big boys tell you too or go to the kiddie pool' and until the PVE system gets more nuance then 'one way to play or kiddie pool' I'm not going to play this game for the game anymore.
