Maintenance for the week of April 13:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 13

The elitism has gotten way to out of hand in this game lately, sometimes I want to quit.

Really, it is not hard to get champion levels, just because one of them has higher does not make them a better player. I think maybe the cp levels are so easy to get the little kids all of a sudden think they are on top of the world and treat others like they are on the bottom.

I do not so what are you talking about? Lol my cps get through the lowbie dungeons with no issues. If anything people need to stop freaken out over cp levels for lowbie dungeons. I made this topic about how insane the elitism has become lately, not due only to my personal experiences.

Let's say that there were 2 players, and a group only has space for one. one player is cp 300 and is an excellent player, the other is a cp 600, but it's not a good player, who do you think is gonna be taken into the pug group? how can you provide evidence that you are a good player? the only way is to have already fought a boss before, and you have the combat report, but if you don't have that, then cp 600 will be the one who gets the invite, it's as simple as that. Usually cp 600 players are better at playing because they spent more time in game, even an infant would understand that. And that has nothing to do with elitism.

I read your post imagining the sound of an eight year old.

I agree that "elitism" is prevalent, even if not more severe. Just recently i was doing the pledge tonight and we were having an awful time with Kinlord Rilis (stage ii Rilis) and after the fight the other 561 guy gets on my butt about not using my Mic. Told me "wtf healer get a mic or just quit."

Most "elitists" you decry hardly spend any time in lowbie dungeons though. So by all means this thread should not exist unless you had that one exceptional encounter that reinforces the general rule where a high CP player told you to get good, and got so butthurt you've decided to QQ about it.

Players, not elitists. Elitists got their weapons ages ago when they were still BoE, because elitists are ahead of the curve. And bought their golden jewelry from the Undaunted vendor.

Players who farm Viper now, especially when it's been nerfed, are probably just other entitled no-name randoms who think they can still equip sets and be gods on the battlefield. And once again, players farming gear other than monster sets do so in normal mode, which you can easily solo if you're a true elitist refusing to associate yourself with peasants like yourself.

    More details pls.

If you are 550 cp and got kicked for not being 600, they have no clue what they are doing, and you should ignore them and easily get a new group.

If you queue for veteran mazzatun with 150 cp, I understand them. There is normal and vet dungeons. Everyone complains they dont have a group etc, but they dont want to work for it. If you are low cp, just do normal dungs or quests or whatever, try to do a vet dungeon with people with same cp as you. Thats how we had to learn those dungeons in the first place. I spent 6 hours on my first city of ash 2 clear.

Btw there is nothing for elitists atm. This housing update are purely ment for casuals. They even nerfed melee dps and buffed easy mode summon a pet and wait for it and gg.

Maelstrom arent even a challenge anymore. I havent done maelstrom in 8 month, and went to do it because of the collectible. I didnt know anything. I just ran around doing dmg. 3 heavy attacks and the boss was dead.

Basically, for elitists as you call it, there is 4 veteran trials with hardmodes. Sanctum the easiest one since there is no dps race and you can recover from deaths. For you casuals there is like a million hours of content. Why dont you do those? Why do you have to start the game and ignore those content ment for you, but want to step into the hardest part of the game?

I have no patience for posters whose threads reek of entitlement and bs. It's a casual game, and 99% of the players won't grieve you because of your CP and lack of skill if you acknowledge it and do your best. However this incessant whining on forums about being slighted is getting annoying, especially when these threads have no evidence, anecdotes, or any other relevant info to contribute to the "rise of elitists" theory.

It's still easy to tell if someone's performing well with some game knowledge. I don't care if my dps is rocking full heavy gear with backwards damage buffs under their costume if they look like they're pulling off a good rotation and not dying :p

I gave plenty of details I said low level vet dungeons, this has nothing to do with wanting the game more casual do not jump to assumptions now. You need to understand the difference between a challenge and elitism, elitism is all about the attitude.

Excuse me? How hypocritical considering your literally doing the same thing, and this is not an entitlement this is about elitists attitude abusing vote kick and more, wasting your time. You are seeing allot of complaints on it because it happens, lol evidence? Seriously you want me to provide a video for you when elitism has existed since the dawn of online gaming? You do not need evidence your not make any sense at all considering how many report this kind of thing on a daily basis why would anyone lie about it? Many people are experiencing the same thing period.
