NPCs are black shadows with no voice

No matter how much I wait for the game to load all NPCs are completly black shadows, I can talk to them but they don't have a voice anymore. I used to have no trouble with the game and it ran very smoothly on my mac. What could be the issue? My graphic settings aren't too high or anything.

What are your Mac's specs? You can find them by clicking Apple Menu > About This Mac.

Once I updated it got fixed! So happy to play again

It actually only worked once and now it's broken again

I forgot to mention it also effects the game's audio, creating noises of distortion and having no sound for a few seconds.

Please first try making sure your OS and drivers are all up to date.

If this does not fix the issue then uninstall and reinstall ESO on your Mac.
