Super Self-Healing, Super Dodge, and Invincibility

Does anyone know what the deal is with these 3 particular things, or how exactly they're done? I'll explain.

A few times now both in towns and within Cyrodiil, I've encountered players who are so tanky that the damage they receive is little to nothing. And can heal off whatever type of damage is thrown at them almost instantly. Actually it is instantly. And no, I do not mean through normal means such as a burst heal or HoT. Like okay, I'll start beating on them and their health bar would barely move. Or if it does start moving, it just instantly shoots back to 100% almost instantly. So wondering if I could burn them down enough, I hopped on both a magicka and stamina character with tons of damage and penetration. And managed to burn/burst them down to 30% HP (no lower) after constantly attacking them and supplying DOT's and burst damage, only for their health to instantly skyrocket to 100% within no exaggeration 2-3secs. And these aren't Templars that this is occurring with. The 1 in particular that I had this experience with was a StamDK. And it was the strangest thing I have ever seen. At 1 point, I was only doing 300-500ish damage to them. As if I was barely scratching them. And they'd just laugh and or do an emote when I'd pause out of curiosity. When asked that they attack me, their attacks do 2k-5k damage to me. And it turns out that they strictly tanks. But capable of dishing out damage as well. Their health pool sat at around 36k, but I've seen others with health pools at 50k that are able to do this. And they are StamSorcs and or StamBlades.

As for the dodge builds, there are people who can dodge your attacks nonstop back after back without dodge rolling. And that too has me confused. Yes they use Shuffle, but what's odd is these folks will constantly cast it back after back in succession and then no longer cast it again. And it's as though I can't land a single attack on them. I kid you not. It's like a stacked Shuffle, and then voila. Completely untouchable for a prolonged period of time. Like 30-45seconds. Sometimes longer, and then they'll move along as if nothing happens. But never answer as to how it is they go about doing it. And no, it's not just folks stacking medium armor and or running a dodge roll set. I've encountered people doing this with light armor and heavy armor as well. So I don't think armor type has anything to do with this.

Lastly there is invincibility. Meaning just that. Being invincible. Or simply put, having your health drop to 0% and stay there. Only for it to be healed off back to 100%, and or regenerated normally back to 100%. I'm noticing people having this occur as well regularly in Cyrodiil, and only with a handful of folks in duels. No, they're not using Phoenix set. Lol. As Phoenix turns people who use it to stone when activated, and make them temporarily invulnerable to all damage. Followed by exploding with fire around them. Eternal Yokeda having similar effects, but again it's obvious when someone has it activated. These people just have their health dropped to 0%, and keep attacking as if they're at full health. Sometimes with 3-4 folks Radiant beaming them. And they just keep it moving, as if they're not being executed. Lol. I personally experienced this for myself a few months back, and was told it was being looked into. As I had made a thread about it, and attached a video of me doing it initially by accident in Cyrodiil. The thread was taken down, and I was told things would be examined. But perhaps it wasn't looked into, As multiple people are doing it. And from what I can remember back when I had did it, and figured out how to do it repeatedly. I'm assuming that others have as well, and it was never fixed. Although, I don't know how to do it again and left it alone after explaining what had occurred in private to a ZOS staff member. But there's some weird stuff going on.

By the way, this is stuff happening on PS4-NA. And if you're curious why it is that I didn't attach a video, it's because I don't want to get into trouble for naming and shaming if these said players are in fact exploiting. And there aren't logical explainations behind what is being done. For all I know there are builds that make all this possible, and I don't want to falsely label someone something as what they're not. And if people are actually going about doing malicious things, then I'd rather speak to someone from ZOS in private than create a witch hunt and name and shame people.

Hmm I run a Tank and she can't do any damage at all, she can only take it... HOWEVER I have seen what you are talking about only last night, I was on my Sorc and I was throwing damage at this one guy, and his damage would not budge, so I thought instantly tank, he won't be able to do much on me while I have my shields up, boy was I wrong, he stunned me and then hit me twice with the lava whip I was dead, had no idea what happened. Same thing happened when someone was on a nightblade his ultimate did less damage on me than his heavy weapon did, 2 attacks thats all it took the ultimate and heavy weapon. once again this is with my character having her shields up.

The health issue I have only ever seen on a templars when it skyrockets back to 100% which is normal for them, the amount of damage Templar can take though is unreal :) I am on EU and I notice that the gameplay in Cyrodiil is incredibly outbalanced, no worries though im sure all these issues wil get tackled in four years time or not. Does not stop me playing the game though I only notice these kind of builds twice or so...they are very few, either I can say they are very skilled and know what they are doing or they are exploiting some kind of tricks.. who knows ;)

These unkillable dk's are chugging vitality pots, the only counter is 60% drain poisons.

Broken AF but it's getting nerfed pretty hard with homestead.

Anyone with this invincable bug should be reported to sony as a hacker. Most likely a rare case of a jailbroken ps4 and sony bricks those guys pretty quickly.

@KingYogi415 So it's the vitality pots that enable the insta-healing for DK's? Alright. But, how are StamSorcs and StamBlades pulling it off?

Not too hard to reach 35-40k max offensive stat and 3500 spell or weapon damage in heavy armor. Unfortunately there is not much tradeoff anymore unless you are going for next level extreme tanking.

Best way to kill a DK. Range. Keep that embers off you. You'll very rarely take down a good magdk in mêlée range without insane burst even if you don't kill them with burst straight away they'll leap out of it, heal and shield back to full straight away. If 1v1 the most annoying people kill me by playing on wings. Just take thier time. Thier skills cost half what mine do so I'm screwed.

Increase cost is also a death sentence for many DKs. Don't go for health straight away. Go for resources.

Like the cheat engine a ton of PC users have/had.

No shuffle always dodged 20%, but cheat engine made it much higher.

I knew a player on console that knew how and would exploit the 0% health bug (where you don't die)

DKs have corrosive armor, the pots and block (when you're only dealin 300dmg that's prob their ult that prevents all but 3% dmg) that new heal will put them back to full health. MDKs... yeah

People always been complaining about OP sorcs/Nb's/Templars..

imo its always been Stam DK's. Sometimes it seems like half the cyro population is one now - all with the same supertanky build.

People blamed Blackrose - no its stamDK's using br
People blamed Constitution - no its stamDK's in heavy
People blamed Malu - still stam DK's with malu
People blamed vitality pots... its DK's chugging them.
    (notice the common factor?)

Any other class you can make a dent, their health moves (even though it may spring back) or they reset or run out of resources... not DK's they just facetank it all forever then start wrecking when they get bored.

btw, most of this stuff has been nerfed in homestead - but the DK's are all still doing it..

I know a Stam Dk that uses the Juggernaut set (see below) and the crafted set Hist Bark (so he gets that innate 20% dodge when blocking) uses the abilities Shuffle, Vigor, Green Dragon Blood and the Vitality pots and is almost unkillable, that juggernaut set it tough when used with those other things combined.. oh and dont forget about Champion pts...

The addons available on PC are stupid.

I have on video proof that theres an addon (probably works similar to Miats) that tella people when to dodge or when another player mouses over them.

I was in stealth when a red zerg rolles by me. I procd my frags and moused over a certain player who then miraculously roll dodged before i even fired it off.

He did this twice as I was between keeps and one was flagged.

These types of addons are *** to be honest.

Theyre not good pvpers if they have to rely on addons as crutches.

Ok, first a little bit of background. I have been playing this game since alpha and have tested almost everything that isn't DLC.
During the beta stage there were a few "bugs" that allowed a player to have impossible stats or abilities in PVE and PVP that were reported. I am not going to discuss the name or replication of these things because that is against the rules but I will say that the developers knew about these problems and the exact same problems persist today.

These exploits are exacerbated by the Scaling~ that one tamriel has brought. The way in which the game decides to scale is at best napkin math and at worst one of the single most easy to exploit mechanics of this game.

In short there really isn't anything that you as an end user can do about this. It's a problem that has been in the game since day 1 of testing and I am sure that if the developers had a way to fix it, they would have by now.

    Caps would fix it.

The problem with caps is that capping a value, any value; only works if the math of those values is consistent. Putting additional caps or altering the way caps work would probably only make this problem worse.
