The Pins have more friction to slow them down on the Simple chests. On the higher level ones, the Pins move smoother, ironically, making it easier to pick the locks.

Agreed 100%. I would actually say I find Advanced the easiest. The timer on Master kills me if I do break a pick, so I do occasionally fail a Master. But Advanced I almost do on autopilot.
I mostly have to do an extra try on the tumblers who don't go all the way down, most times master chests go in one try.yes....They are not easy for everyone.

Or the deadly strike writs. Seriously guys? These things need fixing and more attention than an exploit to get a skin.
Sure, but people think it's great fun to throw around the term "game-breaking" in all kinds of situations where it doesn't even remotely apply...BruceLeeroy91 wrote: »@ZOS_GinaBruno I like how a Rakkhat cheese which results in a skin and a few pieces of untradeable jewellery is fixed in a day, then re-patched a week later, but a game breaking bug such as this, which completely takes away a huge aspect of hunting for blueprints is still on live server. An exploit leading to people getting what is largely considered best in slot gear, and a skin indicating you've completed some of the hardest content in the game is game breaking and trivializing content that is directly related to the improvement of a character.
blue prints and writ vouchers, while very fun, is not game breaking.

Seriously though, to anyone planning on calling a bug game-breaking you need to ask yourself this: does this bug mean that the game is actually unplayable? If the answer is an unequivocal yes, then you can call the bug game-breaking. If the answer is anything else (including "well, it doesn't stop me from doing most things, but it stops me from doing X"), then it's not game-breaking. Calling something game-breaking when it's nothing more than an inconvenience just makes people look like Chicken Littles, or the Boy Who Cried Wolf.
I hate that Chicken! I hate him so much for crying "the wolf is falling, the wolf is falling!"BadLuckCharm wrote: »
