Question about DPS dummies for PC players

The only thing from Homestead I am looking forward to is the DPS dummy, but I would appreciate it if anyone could answer a couple questions:

A) How much Health does the Robust Dummy have?
B) If you have someone grouped with you and is in the house while you are doing the test, can they buff you- SPC, Combat Prayer, War Horn, etc? Or is the Dummy test strictly solo?
C) Can the other player DeBuff the Dummy?
D) Should I bother gathering materials or is it worth it to just buy it from the Crown Store?

Thank you in advance for any information you want to share!

a: I'm out of the house at the moment and can't log in to see exactly, but I know I saw one with 6 million-ish hp
b: don't crucify me if i'm wrong but I believe so. Pretty sure someone put molten weapons on me when I was attacking one.
c: have no exp with this but I'd imagine if they engaged it they could.
d: i'd honestly wait till the price drops and gather the mats and whatnot, but thats just me.

Lol I am not that uptight. Thank you for the info. The whole Buff/Debuff thing is what I really want to know but the other stuff helps too

I'd like to ask a question about skeletons too and instead of starting a new topic I'll ask here.

How many are there and what do they have for hp's?

How much resistance do skeletons have?

How much are they in crown store?

Can you place them in any home, even the free inn room you get?

    A) 6,015,000 health

    B) Everyone in the house can buff you freely, without even being grouped.

    C) Yes, they can apply any debuff they want, so yes with both point B and C you can simulate a raid situation.

    D) With a good organized guild you'ld be able to craft a target skeleton really fast. It'll cost a lot, though, if you have not enough crafters in your guild. The hardest part is to gather the 350 wrist voucher.

Two skeletons : normal one with 3000k health, and robus one with 6000k.

They have 18k200 resistances, as dungeons/raids mobs have. Minor slayer work on them.

They cost 1500 crown (normal) and 2000 crown (robust).

And yes, you can place them in the free room.

There's 2 different (well 4 since it's both Argonian and Khajiit) Normal with 3 mill. and robust with 6 mill. health.

    Don't know about the resistance.

1500 for normal and 2000 for robust (if I remember correctly).

Pretty sure they can be placed in the starter homes but I haven't tested it myself. Someone might confirm this.

thank you for the replies! They help a good deal
I knew the normal Dummy had 3 mill health but I never saw any numbers for the Robust version- 6 mill is a good number IMO. And yes a raid/dungeon scenario is what I was looking to duplicate. I hope they can go in the free apartment since that is all I plan to get! Lol I am a master crafter and plan on doing any Crafting Writs myself, so I might just bite the bullet and buy them from Crown Store rather than extend the grind any more than it needs to be.

One last question.....do you have to craft (or buy) the Normal Dummy to have access to the Robust version or can you just go straight to the Robust? 3mill health seems too low for a real test

The normal and Robust ones are different praxises, you can buy one or both. Crafting the robust one is not predicated on having the normal one. :).

    Yes, thanks for the answers!
I'll be spending crowns for both (maybe just the robust one), would also like some of the more useful crafting stations but that's all I care about for homes.

6 mil hp on robust target dummies. Keep in mind that in every game, test dummies are not really for testing dps, its for practicing your rotations and testing various things. You can receive full buffs/debuffs but even then you can't simulate an actual raid environment because there are 0 raid bosses in this game that allow you to be stationary the entire time while the dummy doesn't make you move.

I am really only interested in having a way to test gear, rotations, skill morphs, etc for myself to see what performs better. There is no substitute for the real deal, but if I at least know what performs better I can maximize my own performance to help the team in the real situation. But like you said, this is all offense with no defense and no moving, so the numbers will not be 100% accurate. But this would at least point me in the right direction for improvement

Last question of mine. ...I swear!

Once you obtain a skeleton, or anything else for that matter, can you only use it once? In other words, I buy the skeleton and multiple homes. Can I use the skeleton for any home I own? If I can use it for any home I own then can I use it in different homes at the same time?

Instead of opening a new thread, I've got a quick question as well....

I know most crafted furniture is tradable, is this still the case with the target skeleton? Can you also trade the animus stone thing that is needed to craft it?

Just trying to figure out the easiest/quickest way to get a couple of them for a guild house. Is it possible for 2 different people each learn a different praxis, and get other people to send them the crafting item? then we'd just need to be able to trade both the completed skeletons to the house owner.

Really hoping this is possible, otherwise it will take weeks, and require lots of duplication to get them built.

Test Skeleton is a furniture item. All furniture items can only be placed in one home at any given time. But I believe you can pick it up and move to a different house.

You obtain the skeleton template/blueprint/praxis through writ vouchers and can craft an unlimited number providing you have the necessary animus stones at 50 writ vouchers each (1 for the normal, 2 for the robust). These act like furniture so you can move them from one house to the other but only have the total number you buy or craft at any one time. I would imagine it acts similar or identical with crown ones where it's 1500-2000 per skeleton.

Additionally, the target skeleton - both crafted and the blueprint - can be traded and/or sold in guild stores along with the animus stone used to craft it. This means those in a good guild can create ones fairly quickly.

e.g. our guild clubbed together and within a few days were able to craft both versions of the skeleton (one version for each GM) providing members were able to raise the 50 writ vouchers themselves for the animus stone. This means we can provide skeletons to each member of the guild for their own use or put them into our homes for guildies to use when visiting, or alternatively sell them in the guild store to others.
