Help! Painting now unselectable. I hate it! I hate it forever!

I found a HUGE painting (high elf, I think) in a chest. Put it on my wall. Hate it. Tried to take it off again. 
Seems to be stuck there permanently.

So now this giant painting that doesn't match the rest of my decor is stuck on there. Anyone have any fixes? Thanks so much. I did post this on the bug forum just now, just in case someone at ZOS sees it.

Soriana✭✭✭✭✭When you're in the housing editor, go to the tabs at the top and find the one that says Retrieve. Choose the painting and retrieve it. Should be back in your inventory!15 -

I had the same issue with putting something close to a wall, and then found it un-selectable for further editing... but "retrieve" worked just fine. Just remember, to use this you need to remember the name of what you placed so you can find it in the list... so, be mindful of what you place!

Oh, fantastic. I was in the same boat, I had just accepted having a picture i did not like hanging on the wall... :'(
That's the first thing I'll do, when I get home from work!

✭Sometimes the retrieve tab won't let you actually retrieve something you just placed and can't highlight for selection. If that happens logging out and back in will solve it.3 -
