Bank-Related Weirdness Since Patch

I am missing a fragment of the Psyijic Ambrosia recipe I recently received in the packet of rewards from completing a cooking daily. I was sure I'd placed it in the bank for safe-keeping, but it isn't there now, and it's not in the character's (Valynde's) inventory either. The character has a skill of 50 in provisioning and 6/6 recipe improvement, but only 3/4 recipe quality, so maybe she shouldn't have received the reward in the first place, but she did receive it, and it shouldn't just vanish.

Also today an alt found a pattern for a dark elf banner. She put it in the bank. Valynde took it out and used it, but she doesn't seem to have learned the pattern.

The Fragment drops with an increasing chance based on Writ Level only. Skill points invested in Provisioning have absolutely nothing to do with getting a fragment other than determining the level of the Writ.

I have gotten a fragment on characters doing L2, L3, L4, and L6 Writs. I am sure I will get one on the one doing L5, I just have not done enough yet. It took almost 250 writs for my L2 to get one, about 200 for my L3 and around that many on the L4. These characters other than the L6 have no other points in invested in Provisioning and have or had various levels of Provisioning.

I know this has nothing to do with your bank issue.

But I might suggest you disable any addons you have that have anything to do with Inventory or Provisioning as they might be masking the Fragment.

Thanks for the suggestion, @Nestor, but I don't use any addons, although I do play on PC NA. I periodically get in-game suggestions that I should disable addons and reload ui, but I've never installed any.

Edit: Yay! The fragment is back after this morning's maintenance.

Edit 2: I discovered today that I've learned that my character has learned to make a post for a dark elf banner, so I'm guessing--based on my experience with Blueprint High Elf Shelf, Long--that I encountered a labeling issue. Sometime back I used a blueprint that I was sure was for a High Elf Shelf, Long, but my character learned High Elf Shelf, Short. Today I found another copy of Blueprint High Elf Shelf, Long and it indicates that she already knows the pattern, which of course she doesn't. She has actually made the short shelf, and it is indeed short so the confusion is between the blueprint and what you learn, not the woodworking table and what you actually make.
