PayPal for Plus

So I signed up for ESO Plus through PayPal 6 hours ago and still nothing. PayPal says it's waiting for Zenimax to authorize the transaction. Does anybody know how long it takes?

It may take a day or two before someone gets to your ticket, if you can provide the ticket numbers I can make sure they are in the right queue.

    Hello all,

not opening a new thread because I have the exact same problem, though I am waiting for Zenimax "authorization" for 4 days now...

Subscribed through Paypal for ESO+, 30 day subscription and the message that is on Paypal is:

"This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when Zenimax Online Studio completes your order."

Already opened a ticket, been renewing it 3 times already, no solution...

    Incident: 170210-000940

Can someone please help or advise? I never had this problem before, been paying for swtor and other games for a long time now.

    Thank you.

Vagrant, eventually {a few days} Zenimax cancelled the PP transaction and I signed up directly with a CC on their site. Keep responding to them through support and then you'll notice the PP pending authorization disappear.

This must be a new issue. I have been paying for ESO+ through Paypal for about 2 years now and never had an issue.

Correction to "never had an issue": there was the ESO+ deactivation bug but that was fixed.

The problem might be that I use different email adds for PP and ESO. The first thing ESO asked was what email I used.

Sixxes, what do you mean by "signed directly with a CC"? You mean you bought it with a credit card on Zenimax store?

I will do that then, but this is really disappointing regarding PP. Hope they cancel it soon so I get the money back at least.

    Thanks again all!

Oh and yes, I too have different emails on PP and Zenimax/ESO.

Yes, I used my credit card in the Zenimax store.

OK, so I'm assuming you need the same email with PP and Zenimax for it to go through. Hopefully they cancel it for you. Just keep replying to your ticket until they do.

It shouldn't be this hard to give them your money, lol.

Ok thanks. So Betty from support team contacted me and told me she will cancel the transaction as it is stuck on "pending" for some reason...

Gonna think twice before using PP next time...

    EDIT:

Another two days later, nothing is resolved. Zenimax told me they canceled, Paypal says they didn't cancel, so I'm writing them both...what a waste...

    EDIT 2:

So apparently the final solution from the support is to put my "case" in unresolved status and ignore me. Good job.

Finally solved this morning. 7 days later....better late than never.

Managed to sub to ESO+ with my card, without any problems.

Thanks again all for the help and advice.
