Bought a Brand New Imperial Edition Physical and the CD-KEY won't work

I bought a brand new, sealed PC/MAC Imperial Edition off eBay and the main game CD-KEY won't work. It just goes to the digital store and nothing happens when I enter it.
The imperial edition key says my account isn't valid for it when I try that one, probably because I don't have the base game on my account.
What can I do?

dmthomasb14_ESOSoul ShrivenI figured out the problem. I participated in the beta and my account is wonky because of that. I made a new account and the key works on it just fine, but I didn't finish the redemption of the key because I want to use my original account.
I contacted support, hopefully they can work it out.0
