Noone is going to get banned for this. Noone ever was really banned for something so trivial. There were like 50-100 people doing this on every server on PC. You really think ZoS is going to ban that many people for something you can still do with outposts. Just lol. Not to mention that many of them are probably subscribers and banning subscribers is never going to happen by zos since all they care about is profit. Just stop making this pointless threads and admit out loud that the only way making zos fixing game breaking bugs is by forcing their hand. That's sadly the way it is with this company.

I recommend a public caning of each individual. That would show them!

Roll back AP gains, take away anything purchased already with AP like gold vendor stuff, lockbox stuff ect. Alliance ranks adjusted to pre exploit along with exp. Any gold or items from leaderboards taken back for incorrect position (if they spent already, take more items from bag using 'going rate' at random) and finally a 30 day ban. Permanent ban for another infraction.

Those are simply all the things that benefit boosters....basic and bare, nothing more. They gain AP, exp and alliance rank. They use the AP to go to gold vendor and purchase items then resell on market, use it for lockboxes for more gold gear that provides a clear advantage to their play. Then there is the in game titles like alliance rank that was gained- If the excuse is "I spent or sold it already" just randomly take a few single pieces out of inventory or better yet OFF the player to make it right using the going rate. Leaderboards give titles and better rewards based on where you end up...more gold and gold items that again can be used for advantage or sold for items they need to give them an advantage in play. Take every single thing back.

AP is in game currency and completely against TOS in the first place having its own section regarding abuse there. The leaderboard, game titles and ranks are a "game service" (clearly states so in TOS) that was abused to give competitive advantage- Each of these things including the alliance boards rank were giving the players an advantage in play- no matter how hard they argue one should actually punish ZOS for not fixing it. (rather like a thief telling judge to punish owner for not locking up stuff better, after all they are a thief and nothing more should be expected of them)

It may or may not happen, but if it does not happen I predict the game will take a serious turn for the worse. People who have integrity and honor realize no one gives it to you, you earn it with choices you make. These things are the only two things I can think of that in no way can be ever taken from you. Oddly, you only loose them the same way you earn them, with the choices you make.
