I almost think the drop rate on the schematics may actually be too high, but again, too early to tell. Possibly I've just been really lucky with those.
I've been just collecting nodes randomly over the last couple of days, it really doesn't seem so bad so far:
9 Alchemical Resin
8 Bast
5 Clean Pelts
2 Decorate Wax
13 Heartwood
9 Mundane Rune
10 Regulus
Honestly, that is a speedy enough rate that I can maintain my interest in my house... while still being rare enough that I will consider each piece I add.

I am not sure this is worth the work, at least, I am not having fun anymore and I am utterly overwhelmed at the thought of how long it is going to take me to make a tables and chairs (between 6 and 10 per piece), let alone beds, wardrobes and counters.
Usually I don't mind a daily grind (for basic materials or to stock up for writs), but wanting something badly, so I can go craft, usually isn't this tedious or dull. I think they need to increase the rate in which these nodes drop their resources. Does anybody feel the same? Has anybody had more luck? Is it just terrible RNG? Should I complain about cancelling my sub to not really do it and just throw it around as an empty threat because I actually love the game? :P

What better way to do this than choke the drop rate. I can live with the drop rate. It means I can sell furniture for a good price. And the rate can't be that bad, I've unlocked the Expert Harvester achievement on several mats on several alts. Drop on blue prints seems okay too, have over 60 learned so far. The only thing I haven't seen yet is an alchemy formulae.

And you did all of this farming no more than 1 to 2 hours a day? No buying of recipes/blueprints, but farming for realistic periods of time?
That's the key here, yes you achieved those things, but how much time did it take you and how much time did you invest?
