FIX GRAPHICS LOCKED SETTINGS, CAN NO LONGER PLAY DUE TO IT :(

I finally finished work and updated the game hoping to try out the new patch and the new features added like housing and so on but only to notice my graphics improved. When I noticed this I asked questions from people what might be going on, instead I found out graphics setting's have been locked and changed and cannot be changed, not even manually and the current laptop I'm using at the moment can only handle the game with everything low and super sampling is a no no for this laptop that uses Radeon 5850 m with only 1gb of dedicated memory in this laptop. The worst part is even if i wanna play 20-30 frames I can only do so for an hour before my computer shuts down due to overheating

@ZOS_GinaBruno this need to be fixed like a HOTFIX, this cannot wait as me and many players with low end to crappy PCs and Laptops can no longer play or play with comfortable frames.

This should be #1 Priority to fix @ZOS_GinaBruno especially when its not letting others play the game at all due to the most dummest mistake ive seen eso make in a patch update

Ouch, eso performance especially in trials and pvp can be terrible at the best of times but this.. this I can see the game being completely unplayable for some. Please acknowledge and fix this asap @ZOS_GinaBruno

This issue needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY. I can stay logged in for maybe 5 seconds during high combat scenarios and then I crash instantly. This is making trial and dungeon runs horrendous to do and literally cuts off any endgame content that we do for those of us that need Medium or Low graphic settings.

I'm pretty sure this issue is a lot more important to fix for us to play than PVP Achievement Furnishings to decorate our homes with, in all respect.

i dont know if this is related... but when i first logged in after Homestead installed...

my resolution was stuck at a slightly higher than 4K setting. not entirely sure why. I was able to jack it back down to 2.5K fine but yeah not sure why the resolution changed itself after the patch.

Wonder if its locked it at a similar resolution your monitors cant support for the rest of you?

Agreed. I was using medium settings pre-Homestead just fine. I could play at higher resolutions but framerate suffered.
I can get by on base PvE right now but I have not yet tried doing a trial or dungeon, let alone PvP. If this is not fixed within a reasonable amount of time and its rendered unplayable for me, I'll just find a new game to play.

Have the same issue. Last patch I played on everything in Minimum/Low and even though it looked terrible, I could do competitive end game content, pvp and play the game happily because it worked. This patch my graphics are locked on some higher quality textures and no matter what I try it wont let me change them. If I dare enter combat my fps drops to around 5. Running around its around 15-20. Please fix this asap! To compare, last patch I was getting 60-70 fps on the minimum settings. I would like to continue playing

So that's what is going on. I thought the game was just running like crap because so many players were logged in for the new update. I did notice that my graphics looked sharper than usual, but when I checked options it still showed sampling at medium so I didn't think anything of it. Hopefully a fix comes quickly.

This was an issue on the Pts builds as well.... Apparently meeting a deadline is more important than fixing many of the glaring issues this update has. Even outside of bugs like this. The update really needed to sit in the oven a bit longer IMO.

If more people would've been on the PTS, this would have been a bigger issue and maybe it would've been fixed before. I had it there already, made a thread about it, nearly no-one replied and now everyone rages because it carried over to live

This is also happening to me... At the moment, low, med, or high settings look exactly the same. With my pc specs is highly required to be able to set SubSampling on medium, it's a nightmare to try to play without this option. I will not be able to play at all until they fixed this issue.

Can't change resolution settings and Subsampling setting has no effect. Completely unplayable at the moment.

That's running my MacBook way too hard. I try not to play longer than 30 minutes.

I need this fixed in 2 days, or I'm canceling my ESO + sub.

I have the same issue on my macbook. While it stills kinda works for doing writs and stuff like that, PvP became quite obviously impossible after half an hour or so.

Yup. I'm going to be a bit more tolerant and give them about two weeks to fix this. In the mean time I'm going to just run around and collect all the skyshards and mats I can.
If this isn't resolved, then I'll probably do the same and cancel my ESO + which would be too bad.
Been a loyal customer since + dropped and I just love this game.

Same problem here - unplayable 15-20 FPS. Before homestead I had >50FPS.

I dont usually pvp much but last two nights in cyro my framerates been around 20fps in combat.

This is on a gtx1080 that was doing 70fps on ultra settings before homestead... (100fps in pve)

Definitely bugs somewhere..
