    No, why would I?

I barely pay attention to the race other people play.

A friend of mine said at max level it is not uncommon to see certain races get kicked from groups if the group doesn't like their race/class combination. For instance he said a Orc going full magic caster would get kicked. If that happens a lot....then I would think racial passives would need to be looked at again. Like creating a pool of passives for each race to choose from.

I have never seen anyone get kicked because of their race, I dont play veteran trials though, only normal ones. Meh, I don't know, I think it's stupid xD Race helps in the gameplay but it's not a defining factor, idk.

I've never ever seen this happen. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens in progression raiding guilds (I mean, the whole point of a progression raiding guild is to get the absolute best scores possible in the toughest trials, so I'd expect a high level of min-maxing to be required of all group members), but outside of that it would seem to be a ridiculous thing to do.

Sure, certain racial passives are noticeably better for certain builds, but for anything other than a group trying for top leaderboard scores, as long as the players are decent the racial passives won't make enough of a difference to matter. And if the players aren't decent, then having the ideal racial passives for a particular build won't be the thing that matters anyway.

I don't think the developers should have to redesign the game just to cater for those who don't realise that's what it is, a game.

I think your friend was pulling your leg. Or just wrong. To say "not uncommon" means it is common. And "kicked from groups" implies random groups, which means 4-man dungeons. No one cares or even really knows what race someone is in a random group. Now is there a Vet Trial running guild that would prefer a Nord DK tank over a High Elf DK tank? yeah maybe. But that is not "getting kicked from a group", that is being excluded from a group. People who are that type of player (hard core) min-max their character from the beginning and wouldn't be the "less-optimal" race for hard core content. If the game changed and they needed a different race they would pay the race-change token or take a weekend and level 1-50, have all skill points and undaunted 9 within 4 days and be ready for the raid the following weekend in thier "optimal race" character.

Mayhaps you need a better class of friends? lol

Anywho there are a couple types that play this game, and you are going to meet the very worst representations of the community in PUGS....diametrically folks you meet in game are super nice and helpful for the most part it's the darnedest thing Iv'e ever seen. I have a theory that most of the salty people on this forum make up about 90% of the pug groups.

I do know there are less folks in ESO that theorycraft though and that upsets the hardcores, personally I stay away from pugs hang with my guild friends and laugh at stories about folks being kicked for their race.

I could be wrong, but I doubt the friend mentioned was saying that certain races should get kicked based on race/class combination. More likely the friend had either witnessed it or been told that it happens.

    4 man dungeons? no.

Vet trials? I wouldn't say kicked, but they may be excluded from a few runs because they can't bring to the table something someone else could in a different race/class.

Like, I would leave a vet trial before getting healed by a DK in vMoL.

If the racial bonuses are the deciding factor between whether a player lives or dies, then the problem is the player, not the race.
