ESO is an MMO, not a single-player game... which means it has to take into consideration the millions of players from around the world and cannot adjust the game individually.

Since ESO is played in NA, EU and Russia, it shouldnt be that of a Problem to adjust the Day/Night Cycles to these 3 Timezones, i didnt ask for a individual Cycle for every single Player ^^

Thus, the 'days' in ESO tend to be six hours I believe, with night lasting an hour-ish. (don't quote me on that, but you get the point)

And what about (simplified) the bottom half of the planet?
Well too bad for them, but the vast majority plays in these 3 Places, sry guys

I dont think such a change is a "tiny Thing",. And its not fine, thats your opinion, some people have others, but People like you are the worst part of this Community, thinking only their opinion is the right one.

So basically you want to take a *** on the bottom half of the planet (which has a sizeable chunk of the player base, especially in Australia) just so you can have a tiny bit more immersion? Yeah people like you are the worst part of this community.
It's fine the way it is, just leave it FFS.

One thing irks me, though: that NPCs and mobs are ignoring the weather and day/night cycle entirely, making the whole thing merely cosmetic. They don't sleep, many of them don't even move. Is it scripting limitation? Yet another case of the lazy dev syndrome? A convenience for the sake of lazy players? I wonder.

Hello
I played a few MMO's in my Days and besides one (WOW) NONE of the them had realistic Day/Night Cycles depending on where you play.
Now Elder Scrolls for me was always about Immersion, so why is this not a thing in ESO? It really bums me out that at 1am i get bright and nice Sun Light ingame.
Was this ever discussed in the Dev Team? Are there any Plans to change this?
Thx
