✭✭✭Got 0 master writs today, got to look for tomorrow, I was to tired and accidently did my writs on my master crafter yesterday before update ha.1 -
Annalyse✭✭✭✭✭So I see all the feedback on the PTS feedback thread regarding legendary mats was dismissed or ignored.
Not unless they changed it again just before going live. One of the patches on PTS did change it so that you get writs requesting epic quality more often than legendary, and my continued testing on PTS proved that to be true. In the last week or so that I tested I got epic requirements 90% of the time. So you still will get legendary on occasion, but you can always just sell those ones.
Here's hoping they didn't decide to change it back within the last week...2 -

No, I vaguely remember getting an epic on the PTS.

Your chances of getting a Master Writ are much much lower if you are picking and choosing which motifs to learn, so this may be a self-solving problem for you.
I think they changed that from motifs learned to trait research, dictates likelihood of master writ drop.0 -

On 2.7.4 PTS you were able to bank them, the vouchers you get for completing them were however bound to the character, hopefully they've changed thatPC EU

I think the concern is I don't have a fair shake at even getting the other alliance motifs. I can either:
1. Buy/get gouged at a guild vendor
2. Roll two alts
I have done my due diligence in acquiring almost all of the ones that I can attain naturally. Not counting crown store and the green alliance.

Honestly they should be extremely cheap from guild vendors on all platforms and servers. Do you have Yokudan? You could farm up enough gold to buy a full set of both AD and DC motifs dozens or even hundreds of times over before you got the full Yokudan.Men'Do PC NA AD Khajiit

✭✭Looks like I might actually see some benefit from all the effort I put into crafting - be interesting how many I can complete before I get one that I cannot do (when it comes to PS4).
I have 8 characters at level 50 in all crafting skill lines, a 9 trait crafter who knows all alliance styles and has read every new motif I have ever found. I also have an 8 trait crafter, 150 or more of each gold improvement item and over 300 of all purples.
I'll bet the first ever master writ I get, I will not know the style......Australian on PS4 NA server.
