So I see all the feedback on the PTS feedback thread regarding legendary mats was dismissed or ignored.

Wait what? I obviously haven't been paying attention properly. You need vouchers to get the target skeleton recipe? I was hoping you could just buy the skeleton outright. The skeleton is the only thing that has me interested in homestead and now I might need a ton of gold mats to get it? *grumble grumble*
Are the master writs always gold?

I won't buy the Daggerfall and Aldmilkdrinker motifs.

PTS was 25 per chapter, or 300 (50 discount) for the full book.

Your chances of getting a Master Writ are much much lower if you are picking and choosing which motifs to learn, so this may be a self-solving problem for you.

I think they changed that from motifs learned to trait research, dictates likelihood of master writ drop.

Can the master writ be deposited in your bank and done on another character or can you only do it on the character it drops on?

I think the concern is I don't have a fair shake at even getting the other alliance motifs. I can either:
1. Buy/get gouged at a guild vendor
2. Roll two alts
I have done my due diligence in acquiring almost all of the ones that I can attain naturally. Not counting crown store and the green alliance.
You can see 540 of them here:
