NA is online, EU have to wait for 5 hours, why?

    Nope, most PC gamers including myself do not remotely care, join PC master race today or adapt :p

    I tried to Join you But then I got a *Can't transfer my character to master race of gaming* and the Download for the game and patch updates would probably take me a week and a half. Sucks to be fiberless

    You still can't beat the fact that the launcher itself has 0 indication if servers are on- or offline and you have to start the game to see that information.

    True , it is ZoS though...

    But you can check the banner at top of the page to ascertain whether server is online or not however

    There are only so many lines available for data traffic and at that time of day/night on Monday... you do the math.
    FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
    FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
    FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
    FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

    Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Because the companies that make your console require ZOS to go through red tape before patching, adding content etc...

    Maybe consoles have to wait two weeks longer so they can fix ( :D ) any potential game breaking bugs before releasing it?
    Just a theory considering everyone says it harder to fix things for consoles because of the certification process.

    As for patch maintenance taking longer for EU. It's just a bullying thing really i'd sue them if i were you! ;)

    That's why I can't login? When I try, I have a message which says: "youv'e attempted to use an invalid or out-dated client. Please exit and update your client using the patcher."
    But I update my client and close it, and restart it, and restart my computer...

    Edit: I did not notice the "in progress" for EU maintenance. -_-'

    The company is based in the US, therefore both servers will be patched and brought up together, obviously EU has had some issues though.
