Yes, the cadvin silver and gold at least tried to explain it.MLGProPlayer wrote: »I don't like how One Tamriel opens up the main quest lines from competing alliances.
It doesn't make sense from a chronological or lore perspective. All 3 alliance quest lines happen concurrently, so doing them consecutively results in a nonsensical story. It also doesn't make sense lore-wise because why would the king of the Daggerfall Covenenant hire the Aldmeri Dominion's top agent (you) to work for him? And why would said agent take on quests where they kill their own countrymen?

The only problem I have with ESO's quest system is that it maxes out when you reach 25 open quests, and then you have to delete a quest to accept a new one. With Skyrim and previous games I would have dozens or even hundreds of open quests.

In Oblivion, I hated the main quest line so much, it was the last part I usually finished. I almost always did the arena and mages guild quests first. I loved the game, but the oblivion portals were super annoying.

I find it very nice that I can do wherever and whatever I want. Example: the crafting writs sometimes (RNG) award you with map locations/resources ... then I simply quest the whole day thereIn addition have addons which mark on the map (Harvest Map and similar) where i have been already through, so it is very nice. Love the variety!
