Another access code issue

After being away from the game for a few weeks, I tried to log in this morning to check my account. When I did I received a message saying something like I was trying to log in from a different location and I had to get a code to confirm it was me. This has happened before even though I am sitting at the same desk in the same room in the same house - I presume its some odd internet issue over which I have no control.

Anyhow I waited for the code. And waited. And waited. It did not arrive in my mail box. It is the correct mail account. It is not in my spam folder. I clicked it again. And waited. And waited. And still no code.

Why do you guys make it so hard to do something so simple? I just want to check my account. this sort of nonsense is one of the main reasons I dont play this game much anymore, you insist on making simple things ridiculously complicated.

PLEASE send me the damned code so I can log in to my own damned account!

    PS: I noticed for an earlier post by someone with a similar problem it was suggested the ISP was blocking the email.

    This is not happening in my case. I received an email from ESO a day or so ago about Morrowind, so emails from ESO arent blocked. Please dont suggest thats the problem.

    And dont suggest I change my email because, umm, how can I do that without logging in, which requires me to get a code, which I cannot get???

    And if I don't get assistance on this matter very soon, I will be unsubbing and never playing again, because I am quite thoroughly over this issue.

    This is truly hysterical.

    I get a response asking me certain things (look in spam, is it a gmail account, turn off the firewall etc). Answered all those, did what was asked, tried again, no access code.

    So then I get a totally daft email saying - change your email address which requires me to LOG ON.
    When I have just repeatedly said I CANNOT LOG ON.

    Every since I started playing back in beta I have similar issues with receiving help from ESO on problems Ive had. They seem unable to properly answer the most simple requests without repeating ridiculous illogical things over and over.

    I play other games where I put in a help ticket, I get a sensible response with assistance, and the problem is fixed. In this game its like they just cant...quite..get it.

    The moment this problem is fixed and I can access the account, I am cancelling it. I am simply over it.

    And the final act is - they refuse to send me an access code in a normal email, and keep telling me its a problem with my yahoo email account and I should go and talk to them about it.

    Sure, Yahoo is going to be the place to fix this.

    So that means I cannot access ESO ever. Well, there ya go. No more ESO for me because Support refuses to do anything reasonable to assist me. What a crock of ### this game's support system is.

    I'm also having this problem. I haven't played in several years. Good to know that they won't do anything to fix this so I don't waste my time.
    I get emails all the time from them so I know my email isn't blocking the email with the code.
    This is just a test........ if this was an actual sig, you would have been mildly amused..........

    I was able to get help from customer support via the ticket route. The issue isn't totally fixed yet however, they are talking to me so we will see how it goes.
    Sounds like they will send the code to my other email now that I confirmed who I am and that it is my account.

    Hopefully they will help you too.
    This is just a test........ if this was an actual sig, you would have been mildly amused..........

    Posting this here also but I cannot get an access code sent to my comcast email I mean come on I shouldn't have to switch my email every other day just to play the game right?

    This needs to be looked into and fixed.

    100% agree however, if you don't want to wait this is a possible option until they do fix it. I used Gmail and Yahoo. I couldn't get the email at either one. No idea why.

    I just got a code at 12:43 sent to my email but it says its not the right one now lol. So must be there actually being sent out its just taking forever so guess now I just stop trying to login and wait.... Hopefully the right code will be sent eventually if I stop attempting to login
