Definitely, this grinding/farming business is a load of fun times (sarcastically.) Ha ha. Interesting stories from you all as well.

In the case of Spinner Sword. You could grind for 30+ hours, and never get it. But 250k can be grinded in what? 3-5 hours if you are bad? Just take your partner, go to IC on an empty campaign and farm gold, stones and trophys.

If you grind soecifically for money towards that item, your resistance on spending the money, will go away.

Ahhh, the Spinner sharpened sword.. the other highly sought after item. So, this is my conspiracy theory that I think I may have been cursed. Just when One Tamriel was released for console in mid-Dec (and just a couple days before I started my farming grind for the Spriggan), I happened to be in Malabal Tor for something and near the Dugan's Knoll world boss pit. Surprisingly, I actually got a green sharpened spinner sword there. I wasn't looking or farming for it, nor using the Spinner set. I was only testing to see how I would fair in soloing that pit. I then upgraded it to purple and priced at 660k in the guild store. It was actually my inside joke to priced it that high. I never intended to sell it at that price. I figured just to gloat for the day and re-price it at a more reasonable price to the lower 100-200k the following day. To my surprise, it was sold very quick. I think it was like within 10 or 15 minutes. I was shocked. I was like, who the hell is crazy enough to drop that much gold on a item. Ok, good for them and hope they enjoy it.

Interestingly, I saw a couple other same swords on other traders for around the 200-300k mark. So, maybe that someone who bought the spinner sword probably realized he or she had been ripped off or something and have been cursing me since. I think that is within the parameter of why I haven't receive a Spriggan sword yet. Yet, some on zone chats are gloating that he has gotten two sharpened Spriggan swords within a week, and another complaining, what is going on, he hasn't gotten a Spriggan sharpened sword drop for a couple days now. So, unless they are fibbing, there appears to be those who are quite lucky.. which I am not.

Ha ha, right.. same with the Wolf-Jax and Vampire Lord Cold Bite greatsword, which both also drop frequently. Yet, some are spamming those on sale on zone chats. I seen it trying to sell for 20-30k and upwards. A dude had priced a Wolf-jax for 100k. Unsure, if it was as a joke, but it got the crowd died laughing.
