Like be happy who cares if you gotta pay for it. You spend more money on subs in 3 months than you would buying this Xpack.
It's NOT the money.
It's the lies/deception.
But if you don't buy Morrowind DLC, you will not be able to play as Warden. And other Wardens will be invisible to you. And they will not be able to damage you in PvP because of that

You and me both - I have realistic expectations though. This is an expansion with a new class and many more things that we may not even know about yet. This is not some small DLC or a few new dungeons.
I sub because I feel that what I get for subbing justifies the cost. This Expansion is much more than that and deserves to have it's own cost.

So people are angry about subscribing for years under the impression they will have access to content released in the future and then this expansion is an exception. Why should I continue subbing and supporting Zos if this is the case? What was your thinking behind making this decision? I'm want to know before I jump on the #hatetrain and uninstall.
PS: Yes I will send you guys my stuff if I uninstall.

@BlazingDynamo - Calling it expansion doesn't make wrong into right. Can you tell the difference between DLC and expansion? How do we determine the difference between 2? and if that was the case, why ZOS was not specific about this before?
Facts-
1. as a ESO+ member you are supposed to get all future DLC content for free. Along with 4 DLC every year.
2. T-1 Was not DLC but a update. SoTH- Only 2 Dungeons.
3. Till date only Sizable DLC came out was Orsinium with 20Hrs of game play and now Morrowind has 30 Hrs, so that makes it expansion?
4. Housing is not DLC, it's a another ingame feature update.
So maybe, people should stop calling it right because ZOS just changed the term of how they will cal their content. It does not make it right.

the only thing wrong with it being called an expansion is its really light on content. do i think its a DLC? no its not a DLC but its worth 25 bucks top they are taking the dungeons out of it and the game system change and canning it to sell as dlc to the churn player that does not subscribe . its cheesy marketing once again. and really this is not a premium MMO its a online RPG that is primarily a solo game.

Well, calling it an "impression" is pretty reductive... It's what they say, even now and even in the loading screens themselves, inside the game:
"Available DLC is automatically unlocked when you are an ESO Plus Subscriber"
So, in order to not be automatically unlocked, Morrowind should not be downloadable, or should not be a content. Apparently, however, it will be a content - and a big content, they say - and it will be downloadable.

Nope. I remember there have been A LOT of complains about Zenimax releasing too few and too little dlcs. However, loyal subscribers have continued to support them, giving them the equivalent of four Morrowind content a year (about €150 a year).
And now, what does Zenimax do? Do they say "Well, loyal customers, for compensating your support and your patience, we will give you not only the new big content Morrowind, but its collector edition"? This is what a serious company, with managers who know how to run a business, should have said: they would have encouraged subscription a lot, from which they can get the equivalent of two new complete games a year instead of 40€ una tantum.
But no, they didn't say this, they said it's not a dlc but an expansion (LOL...) and they said that their loyal supporters won't even get the normal edition... This is how greed ruins a business, even in these little things.

I'll take back what I said when I see these threads.
Its because the 1000 that are willing to pay for it did and they don't come here to say they did. The only ones on the forums complaining is majority the freeloaders that complained the game has a sub too. We been ignoring you for almost 3 years. The choice is yours to make. Play or don't...no sweat off my back.
I am sorry if I sound rude. I am just so burned out on you guys. If the game really upsets you to the point you arent willing to spend ANY money on it and want it all for free. ZoS is probably better off if that group of people left anyway.
MornaBaine wrote: »Actually, in the video announcing this they shied away from the term expansion, literally said they don't want to call it an expansion, and instead referred to it as a "chapter." Apparently using a NEW word makes it different somehow.
This "chapter" is just as expensive as the entire original game purchase. And indeed it includes the base game. But guess what? I already HAVE the base game! So why isn't it HALF PRICE for existing players and only full price for those buying into ESO for the first time with it?
Otherwise, for the price of AN ENTIRE NEW GAME I expect to GET the same amount of content as a new game, not a mere 30 more hours.
And even IF it were half price it would still need at least TWICE the land mass and content of Wrothgar.
That might just be PART of why people are upset.

Its not lies and deception silly, its an ever evolving game! Plans are always changing and now we have 1 chapter a year for 40-100$ plus the evolving Crown Crates and all that other stuffs.
Evolution brah, its just nature
