ESO Interface changes

Hey all,

I know this an incredibly strange reason for being interested in the game again, but I recently saw a video on Deltia Gaming's channel, and he was playing on Xbox One. Now, I played the game way back at launch for about 8 months with my parents and ended up quitting when they did. I came back to the game later to play by myself, no motivation other than to enjoy my time there and play it. I ended up quitting again for another MMO that my friends talked me into playing. But now, I am interested in coming back again, but for a stranger reason, when I saw Deltia play it on Xbox, there was an entirely new interface, it looked sleek, it looked smoother, and it looked far, far better and more interesting than the UI I remembered.

I want to come back to the game, but on PC. Are these Interface adjustments also applied to the PC version or the console versions only? I know it's an odd reason for being interested again, but it really really peaked my interest. That along with the new changes to the way exploration works, being able to visit all zones from level 1 and such, seem really intriguing.

The UI for PC is much more customizable than console because of add-ons.

If you use a controller on PC, it will use the same interface as consoles. That's all I know about the matter

They added some stuff to the base ui for both console's and PC. Floating damage numbers, ability to put #'s on stat bars (health etc) nameplates and some more options.

If Deltia was playing on Xbox - those are base game UI features. Just need to watch out for people playing with controllers on PC.. since they have the ability to use addons to change the ui, even though the PC gamepad ui looks just like console.

Oh I'm sure he was playing directly on Xbox, he said so in the video he was playing on the Xbox EU servers, where he had no characters or Champion Points or anything like that.

That is great to hear, looks like a lot of nice changes have been made to the game - and official floating damage numbers ought to look far better than what people made from addons, I remember those looking kind of out of place. Looks like I'm gonna have to give it a try then for sure! I will probably end up using addons as well, at least the skyshard one. Thanks everyone!

    Xbox updates to UI

    -Scrolling combat text
    -name plates
    -health bars
    -text chat box
    -etc (no add-on support)

Same UI just additions and some sliding over of items
