And dyes. I just managed to get 8-traits on all the gear i use... so im due to craft new gear... but i need it to match!
I think i might be resubbing soon.jedtb16_ESO wrote: »yes..... can i have your stuff?
You know that subs arent compulsory anymore right? Unsubbing is not the same as quitting...
SnuggleMePlease wrote: »Given the situation with the Morrowind Expansion, I am simply wondering if it would be more prudent of me to save my money by cancelling my subscription for the next few months. One of the main reasons I subscribed to ESO+ is because I was under the impression that I would no longer have to worry about paying for newly-released content. Now, however, since ZoS has created an arbitrary distinction between two things which are essentially the same, I'm wondering if it is really worth it. What are the benefits of ESO+ aside from access to newly-released content (which we can't necessarily count as a benefit now)?
When you subscribe, you should be doing it to play for free the content in the game RIGHT NOW. You should not be subscribing right now in order to play for free content that is not even in the game.
Wow. People have some really weird ideas about what "free" means.
If you pay the grocer a set amount of money, the store will actually give you everything in your shopping cart for free.
No one can answer that for you. You need to decide that for yourself

FYI @AdamBourke people who don't sub can dye armor too. It's just costumes that only ESO+ members can dye at the stations.

My ASUS gaming computer only cost me $900 and that was a one time fee. And I don't sub.
Hmmmmmmm.

With the normal price of the 1500 crown pack you get the subscription perks basically for free,1500 crowns equals the price of one month sub.

@SnuggleMePlease
You have no lasting drawbacks from cancelling your sub. You can re-sub any given time. If you ask yourself if it'S worth to pay 14€ a month for a game, then it's not worth it. After all it's just one game. If you love eso and the sub perks, keep the sub. Otherways cancel it.

The longer the subscription period that you pay up front, the greater the risk. This seems to be a lesson a lot of ESO+ subscribers are just learning.SnuggleMePlease wrote: »What makes you say that? That's just how subscriptions work. They aren't content promises. You get access to all applicable content currently available for the duration of your subscription. If your subscription is several months, then if any new applicable content becomes available during that time, you will get access to it. But the words if and applicable in that sentence are doing a lot of work.
If I subscribe to Netflix and then one of their publisher contracts expires and a bunch of movies are removed from the catalog the day after I subbed, they are under no obligation to give me a refund or to have informed me ahead of time about their contract negotiations.
If I subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud and they don't come out with any new features in the time I'm subscribed, and then launch a new standalone product not included in the suite, they are under no obligation to provide that new standalone product to me or to have told me what they are spending development resources on to develop it.
It's up to you to make that individual determination. It is known that ZOS has not delivered on their advertised benefit of access to quarterly DLC because we don't have quarterly DLC. As such, the originally-advertised value of ESO Plus has been diminished. On the other hand, they've added a few new systems and perks to ESO Plus like costume dyeing and the Crafting Bag. For myself, it will be worth continuing the subscription if they continue to add new systems and perks like this to make up for the missing value of the missed quarterly DLC.

Subscriptions are not offering enough to be worth their weight on the pocket. ZoS needs to fatten them up a bit. And playing on console is futile if your are pinching pennies because you think a gaming computer would cost more.

Anyone with two brain cells to rub together would not buy a manufactured PC, let alone a manufactured "gaming" PC. You're indefinitely getting ripped off by being charged the highest prices for the lowest quality parts. Even for someone with no experience building PCs, it is a fairly simple process that (a) saves a ton of money and (b) rewards so much more functionality out of any PC that you build. If you don't take the initiative, it can really only be chalked up to laziness. I didn't even bother reading that part of what he wrote.
It is even arguably cheaper to buy the parts yourself and just pay someone who is experienced in buildings computers labor costs.
