Not only that, ZOS are bringing us another Trial which i really hope is not going to be a pure dps race. I still have not been able to complete any Vet Trial in this game because as an older player my reactions and thinking are alot slower these days and i also cant smash my keyboard buttons as fast as other players in this game. I just really hope this new trial wont be all about high dps and instead some sort of other interesting tactics or mechanics.

Fortunately Zos doesn't exactly punish players with a full blown enrage phase because dps is low, well, except one fight.
Additionally, Zos has clearly moved towards having mechanics that must be managed vs super high dps. vMoL and the 2 Hist dungeons are more about mechanics.

wasn't there a whole "angry mob campaign" to get people banned for by-passing/avoiding mechanics (yes it was a cheat), but the point being that if it is not OK to by-pass mechanics with a cheat then it should also not be allowed to by-pass mechanics through high DPS
there needs to be mechanics in place that enforce real group play with build variety...tanking, healing, supporting, damage dealing

Sure, there are some bosses like aa 3rd boss or manti downstairs that are just dps races, but I'd guess 95% of the time when a group dies to a boss it's not just a lack of dps but either a lack of propper positioning / movement or the raidleader choosing a strategy that isn't optimal for his group setup.
However I'd like to see a trial where you can't just outdps mechanics and instead have mechanics that include traps or require some acrobatic. Maybe some advanced form of the aa horse jump tactic.

Just learn where to stand and how to put out 30k dps with 3 button presses.
Have a magsorc or magplar with meteor and fully geared/golded out ready to go.
Cheers!

Everything that used to be challenging has been turned pure easy mode. Why can they not enjoy themselves in the game aswell? There is even a normal version of those trials. So that others can have fun with and clear. Geeeez Louise.

I tend to enjoy dungeons more when my friend and I two man them, even some vet dungeons, as we have to work together and look out for each other. You take a hard core group of 4 people into a vet dungeon and everything is over so quick that most mechanics can simply be ignored.
Whenever my DPS characters go into a vet dungeon in group finder I am sure some of those hard core players feel they are carrying me because I don't do 30-40k damage and can self sustain/heal. But I have got through them without their help before and will do so again.

I know it's silly but part of the magnificent world of TES are the details.
