Is there any information yet on how we'll go about linking our Morrowind preorders via the various retailers digital and physical?

Digital preorders should automatically be attached to your account. The boxed Collector's Edition will come with a code that you can apply to your account.

I ordered the boxed collectors. But there are bonuses for preordering. Do they package individually to consider which ones a preorder and which are normal. So will I get a preorder code of some sort at any point beforehand? I used amazon.

I don't know how Amazon handles promotional codes. Either they'll send you an email with it on, or it'll be in the box

Usually, if it's an externally generated code, Amazon will email it to you. If it's a code printed in the box, they won't. I don't know which one Morrowind's various codes will be. Ironically, the only physical stuff I've got from ESO are the lore books.

With the original game (pre buy-to-play conversion/console release/gold edition etc.) if you bought a digital copy you just had one code which you used to create the account and it applied any bonuses automatically. (So for example my husband pre-ordered the digital Imperial Edition and when he set his account up he had both the Imperial edition and pre-order bonuses.)

If you bought a boxed copy you had 1 code to create your account and another to add the pre-order bonuses (presumably so they could easily start producing copies without the pre-order bonuses later on), so you had to use the 1st code to create your account and then add the second one on the account page.

I don't know how later versions worked because I haven't bought those.

Wait, so if I pre-ordered the Digital Collector's Edition through steam, do I still get the Discovery pack? Or am I not discovering anything for a bit?

While we are on the subject of Collectors Editions and pre-orders....
I have pre ordered the CE box set from Amazon as Bethesda Store only offers digital packages.
I went to my Amazon account just to double check which card I used and my order status said~
"Delivery June 12-15th"..??? WTF?
So, @ZOS_GinaBruno , are the physical pre orders really gonna be that late? I know you have no control over 3rd party distributors, but any info on this?
Anyone else see this on their Amazon Pre-Order?
