If you sub and feel burnt, what could ESO give to compensate your loss?

It is in stone. They are not going to change it. The Expansion/DLC/Update Morrowind will be at least $40 to everyone. Even the subscribers who thought all content was free because they subbed. I do not disagree or agree because I do not sub. It does not apply to me. But I am curious if anything would ever make up for this slight in your eyes? What could they offer (instead) only to subscribers to take away the burn? Ideas?

With the rising increase to everything in the Crown Store, and the prevalence of sales, the Crowns that come with the subscription are not worth as much now as they were when I started subscribing.

If the 1500 Crowns was bumped up to 2000 per month instead, I would be happy with that, to be honest. The Crowns would be more in line with the bundle packs at regular prices, and the crafting bag adds the incentive to stay subscribed rather than wait for the cheaper Crown sales.

That adjustment would bring the subscription back into equilibrium of value for cost, to me.

I think what's most beneficial is for everyone to have one model

-scrap crowns
-scrap ESO plus

-keep the dlc and expansions
-offer a season pass that clearly details what it includes

Stick to that model

Whilst disappointed, I have no issue with them changing the business model now it has been announced and people know exactly what they are paying for.

For me my main issue still is the fact that they continued to allow subscriptions for the last 6 months without providing the promised DLC, or letting players know that the business model had changed so that they could make an informed decision about the value of their subscription payments.

So ideally I would like ZOS to offer a refund to anyone subscribed for the previous 6 months and feels cheated as they failed to deliver what they had promised in return for that subscription.

However that's never going to happen, so perhaps 1 month free sub would be a good compromise?

Nothing.
The sub is pretty affordable (at least for me) for the time I put in this game and worth it for what I do in-game so I don't mind paying for the expansion.
I would like them to improve some of the server issues but besides that, its all good.
Not a dealbreaker.

All I know is that ZOS better give me a Morrowind themed expac with a new class to play including a new PVP Battleground option and this had better be for about $40 USD... or there will be lawsuits... and you dang kids get off my lawn!!!!

I'm going to buy Morrowind but I will pay for it by cancelling my ESO+ for a few months to pay for it. I do think they could tweek ESO+ a little to help alleviate the sting some people are feeling and to also keep a loyal player base happy. ESO+ subscribers are the backbone of this game and make the company $$$ and if you start taking value away from subscribers it will cause some of them just to unsubscribe and move on. I think they should take a close look at ESO+ and listen to how their subscribers are feeling but I understand it's a MMORPG and sometimes these companies choose not to listen.
It's their business and they will do what they think is right I guess.

Cash shop will not be scrapped. It is becoming the standard in all MMOs regardless of the business model chosen. One the companies found out people will pay for cosmetic items cash shops became a standard.

Either this or find a way to bring value back into the crown. As it stands, it feels like subbing is more for utility than it is a loyalty thing.

Is your inventory full of mats? Sub! Then you can unsub after everything's transferred.
Need DLC on a budget? Sub until you get all the DLC paid for and still have access to it. Load the crafting bag again. Unsub.

Also they should offer free subs from Subway.

Nothing . If I did feel burnt I would leave . The B2P access saves ZoS again with me . I can play for free without subscription . We're good . The day ever comes that B2P changes to F2P and I have to start buying access to inventory or ability bars , I'm out .

It's their game . There are several new titles released this year to choose from if we are tired .

I personally won't be subbing again, I simply cannot trust what ZOS says. I see now the model with change each year and I guess I finally accept that. I don't want compensation, I will just play for free now.
