Thank you ZOS! I hate seeing all the negativity when you are giving people exactly what we have been asking for! It's like some people are outraged that masses of new content will cost money!
The majority of people I've talked to in my guilds are extremely excited, but generally only those that are annoyed will post on the forums! Thank you for the positive thread!

I have been here a long time (signed up for the beta before it was out and have subbed ever since launch) but never talked here until the housing. I don't talk here because i never come here. i never come here because it's demoralizing. Not for me-but it's demoralizing to watch the jaw dropping amount of b!tching and thinking how not fun it would be to be a dev. B!tching about everything. There is literally nothing they could do that wouldn't cause thread after thread after thread of it.
I don't feel ripped off for paying for something that gives me countless hours of enjoyment anytime i want. I am happy to contribute to keeping the game alive and paying the people who make it happen. I understand people are not happy because they thought they were getting all future content with their subscription but to me that sounds like being upset that the company can't give everyone something for nothing after all. Every person who brags about not subscribing contributed to this needing to happen. Everyone who feels smug that they don't pay for anything-is screwing stuff up for everyone else.
Every MMO i've played has done things in this way. You subscribe. Get no special anything for it other than access to a virtual world that sucks less than the real one. Small content patches are free. Major expansions cost 60 bucks. That's just how it is. Why not just realize they can't produce what everyone wants for free, be glad Morrowind is coming and just be upset that the lighting in the houses isn't fixed

And to those who say this type of thing is sucking up-it's not. It's called courtesy and treating people decently. If someone provides a service-thank them for it and give constructive feed back about what you would like to happen. Don't trash them. and don't act as though you are entitled to anything. WeyounTM✭✭✭✭I really want to add another big Thanx to everyone @ ZOS too. It is long overdue, but since I am mostly busy playing the game and just reading the forums...I haven't found the time.
In October last year my wife finally started to play PC games too. And during the free weekend I introduced her to ESO and the new "One Tamriel" experience. We have been playing together, roaming Tamriel and having lots of fun ever since.
One Tamriel was a big step and Housing, even though I don't really care that much for it, will be a nice addition too. Morrowind was my first TES game and I can't wait for the release in ESO. I really think it will be a huge addition. The warden class will surely be a new favorite of mine.
We both are ESO+ members and have spent additional money in the crown store. And no, we don't feel entitled to get ESO Morrowind for free. ZOS is after all a business that needs to make money. And since this is an MMO which is a huge time sink in of itself....spending 40+ bucks extra is not a huge deal (for us).
After watching the twitch anouncement I expected a meltdown in the forums...as usual. I feel kind of sad to see all this negativity here, even if it isn't as bad of a cesspool like other forums.
So again, my gratitude to all the hard working gals and guys @ZOS for making this game and expanding it further. There will always be more naysayers and haters on the forums. It is human nature....Magicka-Khajiit-Player since Beta

Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.

Thank you all for being part of the ESO community. We have come a long way together – but the journey is just beginning, and it is going to be a lot of fun enjoying the ride together.
This year will feature four major events:
Homestead, our player housing DLC, in February
ESO: Morrowind, our first Chapter release, in June
A dungeon-based DLC in the third quarter
A content-based DLC in the fourth quarter

This game isnt the best MMO out there (WoW and GW2 still have more players some how)
But I will say I love this this game the most out of other games. I get to play how I want which I love. This new expansion is what myself and others have been waiting for for a really long time I think. The DLC;s are great sure but we finally get to travel to a new area with new quests, new scenery, a new class, hopefully new skill lines. I am so excited to see this is coming in June!
Just hope there is more player progression to be added so we can continue to feel our characters grow. Great job making this!!! I can not wait!
I personally think it is better than both games you mention, especially WoW. People tend to go where their friends go and since WoW has been on a decline for some time now they may be seeking out new experiences. ESO isn't that expensive to at least get started with...
