Yeah so instead of actually enjoying new content, let's farm everything again.. please no.

I don't mind gear cap increases in MMOs, they are a part of it, but I loathe gear cap increases which involve farming the same old content again and again while enduring this infamous and horrible RNG and trait-lotto.
Either new CP cap gear by farming new content or by crafting, or maybe a crafting solution to "upgrade" old gear which is still BiS.

The main reason why a lot of people are complaining endgame is boring is mainly this, everyone just keeps playing with thier old gear and just do the new dungeons a few times or zone quest and then they go back to the way things were before the patch.
Raising gear cap will even make people try new sets and builds and make trading work again and will make newer sets interesting to get even if they are not overall better than the older ones

All MMOs do it with expansions, ESO fans are just too spoiled :P

Increase the gear cap to cp 180 or 200 ,but give us a way to upgrade our existing gear to cp capped gear.
Not gonna run vma another 100 time for that sharpened vma inferno again.
Not gonna use 1 mil gold in gold tempers for gilding out my bis gear once again.

Also they can't keep everything cp160 forever so if they are ever increasing the level of gear an expansion would be the perfect time to do it.
If they added way to upgrade current gear then this would be a little less painful, but I honestly don't care. I want a fresh start.
