I've played pretty much every Bethesda game since Morrowind, and they've always considered expansions separate from what people term "DLC." Always. I guess that's why I'm just not too upset about the expansion being priced separate and not included in ESO Plus. I can understand people who've been subbing for a long time being upset because perhaps they thought that every single thing would be considered DLC. Perhaps the company should have specified that major expansions wouldn't be considered DLC.

Did you sub to Skyrim? Did you have a Dishonored sub?

What content wasn't included in the Fallout 4 season pass? When Bethesda came up with more content for the Fallout 4 season pass, they they sell it separately? Or did they just raise the price of the season pass for future sales to better reflect the amount of content, while honoring the original marketing of the season pass?

Your comment really doen't add anything beyond the shallow argument of harping on the word "expansion". Add 10 hours more content than the DLC Orsinium and now it is an expansion. Doesn't matter. It doesn't change their deceptive marketing with ESO+ in light of planning to go 3 quarters without providing quarterly DLC.

Skimmed the other thread, and now I see this one. I can't ever remember seeing anyone be as outright lost as you "SuNfIREyKn1gHt298720808." Forty dollars isn't anything to anyone, any normal person could look through their house and just find $40 laying around.

People are angry because this is a shady business practice, and if you don't agree with that -- you're simply incorrect. It's not a matter of opinion, it's not even arguable. Is Morrowind something that I have to download? Yes. Therefore it should have been included in the ESO+ perk "Access to all future Downloadable content." There is no argument to be made against this, and if you try making one -- you're a complete moron.

Cool story bro. I just finished my 8 year term as President of the United States. Now that I'm done with that, I should have a lot more time to play ESO between my speeches where I'll earn about a half million an hour.

Okay, someone else's turn. This is fun.

I just started my term as president. Many tears were had by all.

Seriously, I just want ESO to be great again. Is that a crime?

No, actually, it isn't. It only seems that way if you're butchering the English language to try and make a point.

They have never been the same thing. I've been (EDIT:ONLINE) gaming since Buffy the Vampire Slayer was that new ***. Trust me. DLC has always been smaller. Much smaller. Some companies would have called Wrothgar an xpac back in the day.

It's extremely common to use the term interchangeably in the gaming industry. Here is Gamespot calling Orsinium an expansion pack.

Some people will buy the expansion, some won't.

Oh, and I own 100 rentals, a small country and a holiday house on the moon, so I win.

Did you buy it with crowns?

    Yep.
Everyone who threatened to quit over the years sent me their crowns. I have more crowns than a royal crown storage warehouse and emporium.

I forgot you said you sold it. Whatever. You'll forgive me if I don't believe every random person who tells me how rich they are on the internet. That lie is pretty high on the list of "*** I read every day and highly doubt". I know quite a few millionaires. People who make regular trips around the world because they're *** bored. Not one of them has ever bitched about spending fifty bucks, regardless of why.

But sure, you're a super principled and frugal millionaire posting regularly on a video game forum and taking up for the little guy who didn't know that DLC and expansion pack aren't the same thing. If that's true, good for you. If it's not... I mean, good for you still, I guess.

I assume the millionaires you know are children of millionaires and haven't actually earned the money. There are a lot of frugal millionaires who try to be wise with their money. That is partly how they got that way. Especially those who built up businesses. Even a flashy fool like Trump is incredibly cheap.

It's a waste of energy to you . Not everyone . My girlfriend is broke , she needs my credit card to get things . My mom borrows money too . So if ai don't complain about financial concerns it just goes in the wind . Start a thread about crown prices if you are worried about them . My concern is this topic , where people already paid subs and saved crowns but can't use either for th first time to buy new content . Focus .

Truth is business decisions are not made upon financial situations of the player base, but which ways are the most sustainable.

You may not be willing to pay for such services but by no means you are entilteled to any future developed content because you have been paying an optional sub. That's beyond stupid to think.

The term Expansion is just another word for DLC (Downloadable content), no one would be complaining if they didn't made one of their in game to store money (Crowns) completely invalid when it came to buying the new content. That's the issue right there.

No, actually, it isn't. It only seems that way if you're butchering the English language to try and make a point.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expansion_pack

They have never been the same thing. I've been (EDIT:ONLINE) gaming since Buffy the Vampire Slayer was that new ***. Trust me. DLC has always been smaller. Much smaller. Some companies would have called Wrothgar an xpac back in the day.

*Cue the, "I've been gaming since ninteen dickety three!" rants.*

It's extremely common to use the term interchangeably in the gaming industry. Here is Gamespot calling Orsinium an expansion pack.

So people use the term wrong, and you think suddenly ZOS should give you tons of content for fifteen dollars. Got it. For a minute I thought you were just talking nonsense.

    It's not $15. It's $180 a year.

And I'll ask you again, do you sub? How many crowns have you bought in this game?

The subs are the ones who supported this game over the years with their money. Yet all I see is non-subs complaining about subs being "entitled".

No, it's $15 a month. You can stop any time you want before you reach $180. But I bet that's ZOS fault too, huh?

And you're talking out of your ass. If you don't agree with that, you're simply talking out of your ass.

This is fun! Do another one.

You didn't answer my question again. You seem very passionate about calling people who spend $180 a year on the game cheap. Please share with us how much money you've spent on this game. I'll be waiting.

    Close enough. o:)

Whew! Well lookie what we got here. You must share your review of the content that hasn't come out with us. That length would be especially surprising since they said there's 30 hours of story content in the stream today.

ZOS themselves said that Morrowind will have 30 hours of content, just like they said Orsinium would have 20. These are facts shared by ZOS.

They said story content. They also said the base game has 200 hours for comparison, meaning it's 1/6th the size of what we already have, or about 4.5 zones worth of content. Plus dungeons. Plus trials. Plus a new class. Plus new PvP. Plus other *** they probably haven't revealed yet.

Wait... You're disputing his claim of "add 10 hours more content than the DLC Orsinium" by saying that the stream today claimed 30 hours of content for Morrowind? I believe that's what's known as confirming his claim of "10 hours more content" not disputing it.
