I've played pretty much every Bethesda game since Morrowind, and they've always considered expansions separate from what people term "DLC." Always. I guess that's why I'm just not too upset about the expansion being priced separate and not included in ESO Plus. I can understand people who've been subbing for a long time being upset because perhaps they thought that every single thing would be considered DLC. Perhaps the company should have specified that major expansions wouldn't be considered DLC.

As many people have stated no one really is complaining about the 40$ the real issue is that it's not going to cost crowns. People like myself who are ESO+ subscribers also do not have access to it but also cannot use the crowns saved up to buy this expansion.

So let's say you have a gym membership and you pay monthly for it which grants you perks like weekly steam massges,etc. Then the gym creates a huge Olympic size pool but your pass doesn't cover that and the only way to get pool access is to now pay a front door fee for lifetime access. That would definitely irritate you if you were a member for so long.

Not the greatest analogy but I hope my point gets across to you.

My gym actually does have things you have to pay extra for in addition to the basics. Quite a few things, and they regularly add more. I don't beat down the GMs door if I want to go swimming, I just pay the price they set, because it's their *** pool. Nobody ever in the history of this game said there would be no expansion packs, they just said you'd get access to the DLC with a sub, which you do.

I totally see what you guys are saying, it's just ridiculous and entitled.

EDIT: And you still get quarterly updates and new content in addition to this. Everyone is talking like that's going away. It isn't.

Um, he said he sold his El Pollo Loco franchise. Right there in the post that you quoted. Why would you expect that if he sold an El Pollo Loco franchise he'd be getting the email for it? Shouldn't the new owners be getting that email?

The new owner will probably still let him know it was recently purchased . I'm sure they do respond to emails , I did .

The term Expansion is just another word for DLC (Downloadable content), no one would be complaining if they didn't made one of their in game to store money (Crowns) completely invalid when it came to buying the new content. That's the issue right there.
