Why are y'all complaining about 40$?

It doesn't matter how much or little the expansion price is. The problem is they are scamming people with ESO+ with their lies of "it's not DLC", when in fact it is DLC.

I don't know about you, but if $40 broke my bank, I probably wouldn't be playing videogames. Every AAA game released in the last 10 years has cost more than $40. All these forum weirdos are acting like ESO is the first mmo to charge money for an expansion.

The ESO community was infinitely better when it was pay gated. The average IQ dropped 50 points post Tamriel Unlimited.

If pay gating the expansion means the return of some quality lads again then heck I'm spending 99.9% of my time in Morrowind.

I subscribed because I was under the impression that the subscriptions help the developers put out new content. But for the last half year now we got two dungeons and an update for the "quality" of life.
I haven't seen anything in the game to show for all the money from the subscribes have donated.

Maybe all the money was invested into making all the crown crate stuff.

Disagree. There is nothing in the Storm Atronauch Crates, nor in the upcoming datamined Spring Crates, holds any appeal to me. I like a lot of designs from the base game and cash shop. Opinions are opinions.

Oh stop crying and call the waaaaambulance.

I'm down over $2000 on ESO since early access/launch.. and that's only ONE of my accounts. (I have two PC accounts with ESO+ and one Xbox One account).

Including the other two accounts I'd say I'm up over 3K. Thats not including the PC Upgrades I've done during that time solely for ESO which exceed another 3K)

But you don't see me whining and carrying on like everyone else. Instead I just shelled another $60 to grab the next installment and moved on.

What... did you expect ZOS to develop content in exchange for Food Stamps or something?

If this is true, perhaps you shouldnt be gaming... Not aiming to be rude but electricity + content aint cheap. Time would be better invested in finding a new job or getting some RL training

Back in my day, "dlc" was called an expansion and cost 60$ on top of required monthly subscription fees. Kids are spoiled now

No its been $40 across the market. WoW charges $50 but everyone else has been $40.
