How to unlock crafter gear at CP160?

Hello everybody.

This is probably a stupid question but here goes. With my main char I have invested in the clothier crafting. I have put points into all of the skills available. My character is lvl 50 with several hundred champion points. I do not have any DLC for this game and I am not a subscriber.

When I try to craft light and medium armor I am unable to unlock CP160. When I click the "+" next to the materials it will only go up to CP 150. After getting to CP 150 the "+" becomes grayed out. I have several thousand pieces of ancestor silk available, so I know that is not the problem. I have all of the other required materials for the trait and style as well.

When I invested the skills into this the skills says it allows the use of ancestor silk and reubedo(sp?) leather. Does that mean I can only make gear using these materials and the ability to do CP160 is locked behind something else?

I have asked about this in game and searched online. There is a lot of conflicting information. Some say I need Orsinium, some say it has something to do with craglorn, others say Cadwells silver and gold, and yet others say I should be able to craft this stuff no problem.

So what is the deal? Is this pay to win? Am I bugged? Any ideas?

Are you a maxed out clothier? Lvl 50 in clothier?

Maybe you have to be CP150+ ? Because with ancestor silk you should be able to craft CP160 stuff.

@Zaedor where it says CP150, look one click down it will say like 13-15. Click that, scroll right it will move to 130-150 and be CP160 gear.

The same mat makes 150& 160, you just need to up the amount you are using to make 160CP.

As for the P2W panic,lol that terms over used on this forum. Anyhow some.crafted sets are onLy in DLC so if u are after a particular set yes, you or someone you know.needs the DLC. UT all decnr base sets are in base game

@Berenhir - yes I am lvl 50 in clothier.

@EleonoraCrendraven - I am currently about CP 310. That is why I said I had several hundred CP points.

@X3ina - lol, yeah that seems to be the problem. If only it wasn't greyed out.

@Beardimus - That is exactly the problem my friend. I cannot move the material amount up any further past CP150. I understand the same material is used for CP 150 and CP 160. That is why I said I have several thousand available.

Don't choose next material ... choose amount of mats needed for particular piece.
Press "+" not the ">" button

@Zaedor did you get this sorted? SO basically when it says CP150 at the top, go down one click (on console anyway) and change the number of Mat's from say 13-130 then the CP150 bit above changes to 160.

Hope that makes sense?

The "several thousand pieces" of ancestor silk is it raw ancestor silk? if so you need to refine it first before being able to use it to craft

You also need to have the crafting matts either in your bank or in that character's inventory. You can not access the matts if they are in the inventory of an alt. If you were a subscriber you could also access any matts in your crafting bag. Grayed out usually means you do not have appropriate amount of matts available.
