Does the Craft Bag fundamentally changes the fun factor for the game?

I know they need to make money and companies love to forecast revenues but I hope they someday change this and give it to everyone as it is a must have feature of the game.
Because you don't want to pay for their work? They offer you a game - nearly for free - and added an option to make this experience even better. You have not two but three choices (not to play at all is one). But you still complain.

The sub is not much. Most people pay way more for much more useless things each month. You want to use the bag? ...

This is the best part in every crafting bag thread over there. People stating unsubs just want everything for free.
Well, I actually contribute, from my unsubbed position, keeping the lights on as much as you do.
I expend in crowns probably more than how much I would by subbing (and probably more than how much you do).
The reason I'm not subbing is that I don't play every day or every week. Still this does not mean I am here ignoring keeping the servers up has its own cost.

Basically the crown bag only for subs is a poor design choice. It's a complete gamebreaking perk that gives subs an unfair advantage in every side of the game. I admint that there should be some kind of perk for subs and I would have used the merchant and banker assistants for this purpose. Assistants are usefull still not breaking any balance of the game, like the crafting bag does.

In my opinion, whoever deny that craft bag is unbalanced and unfair, is just using bad faith, neglecting a sign of bad health of the game.

I don't get your logic. If you truly spend more money on crowns than you would if you subbed, then why not sub? I get that you said you don't play all the time, but if you really spend more on crowns than you would spend if you subbed, why do you willingly pay more to get less? I love people who don't sub because they think it is a waste of money if they can't play everyday, yet spend more money on microtransactions than they would subbing. It is people like that that make games go to cash shop ideas. You don't need to play everyday to get value out of your sub.

hmm not 100% true. as a general rule of thumb, pricing of zones in games to buy outright in the format eso has adopted is usually 2-3 months of sub equivalent to what they normally sell crowns for. for example, i can buy 60,000 crowns in wizard101 normally for 60 usd, sub is 10 usd a month, and i can purchase an entire new world (new content) for 10,000 - 12500 crowns. so from cost effective point of view, its more cost effective to buy areas directly. so what they do to make subs more viable, is offer perks to subs, once month a random bonus event occurs, from double pet training xp, to double garden harvests/xp, free respect (in that game costs crowns to respec skills outside your class you have learned). you get 70 additional inv spots, more energy for training and gardening ect, free access to ranked pvp, this means while its more cost effective to buy a world directly, when you compare the other aspects to the sub, the sub can actually win out in certain aspects. for example avid pvpers would do better to sub, same for players who can run all toons through a world in 1 month.

so end result is, you cannot simply say that subbing is more cost effective. now i am 100% for subbing if you do crafting, if you dont crafting, then there really no need to be subbed. a noncrafter has no need for a mats bag, they would make money off selling gear directly or decon gear and sell mats on traders then to horde the mats.

I agree. It is a different value for everyone as a lot of things can come into consideration. I didn't say that subbing is always cheaper. It was the person I responded to who said that they pay more than they would subbed. My question to them is why? Why would you choose the more expensive option if it gets you less?

Edit: My comment about not having to play all the time to get value out of the sub was simply that. A lot of people feel they need to put in hours everyday to make the sub worth it. That is simply untrue and merely psychological. People feel like they are wasting money when subbed and not playing constantly, but if they actually sat down and compared the money spent on the sub and the hours per month that they played, I think most people would find it cheaper than nearly any other form of entertainment that they pay for.

Craft bag has significantly changed how fun the game is
    Its all about time.

    More time = more fun

With the crafting bag I spend less time micromanaging my crafting mats and more time playing the game doing fun stuff.

Craft bag is objectively good, only people whose niche entertainment is from hours of inventory management prefer to go without it. I mean, more power to them, it's just not what the majority wants.

Craft Bag has not changed how fun the game is
I was subbing before and continued subbing once the bag dropped. It didn't change that part of my game.

On further thought, it did increase my enjoyment of the game because I didn't spend 30 minutes or so a day on inventory management. And now I get to hoard armor sets.

But then, I remember back in Oblivion when certain people used to load a corpse with loot and drag it to the entrance of very large dungeons. Not that I EVER did that, mind you. That's so gamey.

Maybe they will release a crown store craft bag and at the same time give Eso plus members house storage only

I don't think they're going to release storage for a long time. To do so would devalue the banker that's currently in the crown store.

I know people said they weren't going to buy the bankers, but I was doing dolmen runs over the weekend and I swear half my attacks were directed at someone's banker.

They should not be releasing anything or any important feature exclusive only to subs. They are either behind B2P/DLC/crown store or they are not. SWTOR pulls this *** to a much greater extent with its insulting credit cap but it's manipulative. I am not suggesting they should give everything away but they should not intentionally make the game painful to play for non subscribers with no way to get around it. I was totally behind this game as a B2P/DLC game. I thought the subs were already better than most with the amount of crowns you get with it, but it went from being optional into something else. You either sub invalidating all the purchase of DLC or you suffer the consequences of not having decent inventory management. For most people it is probably not a big deal, but after 10-15 years of playing MMO's inventory managment starts to become an exercise in mental torture.

The reason B2P/DLC/MTX is so successful is it offers a great level of freedom. The sub model is simply not worth it unless you are playing 10-30+ hours per month. If you are an extreme casual, and like to play when you feel like it is hard to justify subbing to any game. I often go months without even logging into this game, and don't think I should have to sub just to enjoy it when I do. I would have bought every DLC this game put out until they shut the servers down.. now however it's not worth it when they lock the most important feature behind ESO+ and you need to waste money on a payment model you abhor.
