Instanced neighborhoods.
They had a lot of problems in FF14, but when they did work well it was was amazing. I always liked walking to my home and seeing the things my neighbors had done to theirs. Or actually seeing them out and about. Made a few friends just because I lived near them.
This is a great idea. Would be nice to have a (directional) sign that says "Crafting area" or "Guest room" or "Hunding's Rage"Asherons_Call wrote: »[...] Customizable signs for messages to players [...]

More NPC's, acquired through various quests that will visit your home to make it feel more lively. Since dueling arenas and obstacle courses will be a thing, I'd also like to see craftable traps like lava pits, spike traps and more. Perhaps trigger mechanisms so you can spring the on other players at certain times, but now I'm getting into very wishful thinking territory.

For example, i might have my mannequin labeled "BSW PVE DPS". In this example, he might be wearing 5 BSW, 4 Moondancer, 2 Grothdarr.
I would then be able to, from any character, go into my inventory and equip any mannequin I have dressed (obviously would need to be out of combat to prevent exploiting).
This would accomplish several things. First, the mannequins would look awesome in my house. Second, it would help a small amount with storage. Third, and probably most importantly, it would save me from changing the exact same gear set all the time between different toons. Forth, it would mean you don't find yourself grinding for two of the exact same piece of gear. Would pay serious crowns for a few of these.
