ESO end game is just boring.

    2: Start a new character.

That's actually the worst you can suggest in an MMO because it confirms an issue with endgame.

It doesn't confirm anything. OP thinks endgame is boring, unrewarding, but that doesn't mean it is true for everybody else. If he enjoys the leveling, he can still do that.

Also, creating a new character is very much a part of an mmo.

A little reminder, this discussion is not about freedom of choice or features that are part of an MMO, it's about endgame.
And if you recommend to play a new character it doesn't improve or change anything in this matter.

Other than that you cannot claim endgame is rewarding and good enough, there is always room for improvement.

Not necessarily. Playing another class or character can really open the game up. It depends on how you play.

My main has always been a tanky DK who's professions are smithing, clothing and woodworking. My alt is a templar who can be DPS or heals, and she focuses on enchanting, alchemy and provisioning.

So the two characters actually compliment each other in that they can craft for one another, and explore different avenues of the game.

Of course you COULD technically go down all of those paths with one character, but that's a lot of juggling skill points and switching builds.

Also consider that now with all of the different guild skill lines, you can really role play one character to be a certain way within the world. With a main who you've been playing for ages and have all the skill points, you can easily skill up in a of the guilds if you want. But with a new toon you have to choose who you're going to be.

Anyway, like I said it varies depending on the type of player you are. But rolling a new character to enhance your own game and end game is really not a bad thing.

Again, this thread is about endgame and not about alts.

    I disagree OP.

Its fine that you think that, but I have a lot of fun at endgame and I'm sorry you don't.

Endgame for some players is creating new characters. For some it's doing pledges and/or trials every day. For others it's posting on these forums. There are as many different meanings to endgame as there are players.

All I can do now is finish 2 Undaunting quests, 1 random daily dungeon, Orsinium daily quests, and PVP, and that's it. Cause there's literally no reason to play Trials and other challenging dungeons because its hard and Unrewarding.

When something is difficult and you beat it, it is a reward in itself. If you spend a month or more working towards beating veteran Maw of Lorkhaj for example, then beating it gives you a nice rewarding feeling. There is also veteran Sanctum if you haven't beaten that. And soon (in less than a month) there will be veteran Aetherian Archives and veteran Hel Rah Citadel, plus two new difficult dungeons. So I don't see why you would say endgame is boring, I think it's more of a case of you not being willing to do trials, and therefore being stuck between casual play and actual endgame which is boring.

By definition, creating alts isn't "endgame" as you start over the game....

And posting on forums ? Really ?

I have to agree with OP. I don't like PVP and for PVE I've already finished all vet trials. HM Trials are insane, not fun.

I want to play ESO, but I feel I really don't have anything else to do in it.

Creating new toons isn't compelling, fishing is boring, daily quests are unrewarding, pledges are repetitive.

The game needs more diversity in activities, imo.

There is no end game they have abondoned that part. You can defend zos all you want and enjoy the game for what it is. I signed up for a premium mmo when I bought this game . And it was what it was marketed as. It's just not it's a cash shop barbie doll game that is 95 percent t solo and very browser esq in its design. Beautiful game that looks like a vast ocean of possibilities. But when you dive in you smack your head . It's four feet deep in every direction you go

I know a lot of players these days claim the game starts and end game and maybe for some it does, I come from the generation of gamers where the journey was everything, and end game is such a poor name for anything in a mmo there should never be end anything in an online living world.

Once to get to max level the truth is your options are limited, and the repetition can grow old fast. :(

This is the issue. End game is not all just trials its four man dungeons its long end game quest lines that tier up to group content. its a real AA system not just this *** poor passive CP system. its a lot of things that zos has just abondoned. Many other MMOs with far less money and far less sales were able to release 3 full blown Expacs aa multi layered AA system new classes races and new starting zones at a 3 year mark.

    Hello everyone,

This post is to let you know that we've felt it necessary to put this thread down, as it seemed to have died some time ago. At this time we'd like to try and keep Draugr threads from roaming around front page, pushing down newer and more lively threads. Though feedback is always appreciated, if there is not already a recent thread created on this topic, please feel free to create one to continue the discussion.

    Thank you for understanding!
