All I can do now is finish 2 Undaunting quests, 1 random daily dungeon, Orsinium daily quests, and PVP, and that's it. Cause there's literally no reason to play Trials and other challenging dungeons because its hard and Unrewarding.

Trials, Craglorn, DSA and VMA all end game PvE. All of the end game you listed and that I listed has rewards worth getting. The next update will increase some of the gear to 160 as well.

Maybe you should try the 'hard' content before calling it boring and unrewarding.

He's right, trials aren't worth farming till its changed to 160, dsa been 140 still forever.
Practically giving away every monster set, can grind perfect drop sets in a day, hit level cap in 6 hours. I'm at the point where I can do is pvp, I will be max champion rank for many dlcs to come. And as far as craglorn goes there is zero reward for completing any of it besides achievement hunting.

ESO is based on the TES genre: It's the narrative that drives this game, not the end-game. I'm surprised, I thought everyone knew this.

Agree 95% endgame is extremely boring and is probably the reason why people only show up and play for a week or so every month or two. But its not difficult, just repetitive, tedious, monotonous, take your pick of descriptive adjectives.

I have played 1 class since beta. Never been bored in this game because there is always some way I can improve. Try switching your role to healer, or tank or dps whichever you don't already do.

Some of these group finder dungeons can be the most interesting. The people that join up are not tweaked out, and finding a way to get them through the dungeon can be really fun and challenging. I've had to stretched my builds in new directions, like being both the tank and the group healer.

Why don't you find a serious trials guild that is progressing in the content? It's a lot less boring if you're making friends along the way and are all working towards a common goal.

It is really horses for courses - some people enjoy the trip towards end game, others hate that and enjoy end game, still others hate all of that (PVE in general) and can't get to PVP fast enough. None of these categories makes anyone a better or worse player, a success or failure, it is only a game and people play for different reasons.

There is no right or wrong, good or bad, people are just different and not everyone has to complete the hard content. I enjoy the game but have not yet done a trial, don't do much PVP and have not completed all of the 'hard' dungeons. I have 5 CP160 characters and if get bored I'll probably level up a new Alt rather than spend ages trying to beat a trial - my choice.

That is certainly possible to achieve. Something can be hard yet quickly go repetitive once you mastered it with rewards not good enough to keep you coming back... or the rng so absurd you feel cheated every time you get a 'reward'.

To be fair, the OP did say that the end-game content is hard "AND unrewarding."

I think it is the "unrewarding" part that most are missing.

Like most people at end game, I don't really care much about gold. Everything is sold on the Crown store, so there are really no gold sinks in the game, and I have enough mats just from leveling and picking flowers as I go to make all the gear I need.

The "unrewarding" part is the total reliance on RNG drops in RNG armor types with RNG traits that give you NO guarantee of EVER getting anything you need out of that difficult "progression" that puts people off even bothering.

I for one agree, it is a HUGE problem and critical design flaw.

ZoS are very cheap on gave out reward we have one good example that is the so call world boss the dont drop any loot at which make the worthless after you have complete the achievement on them.

People say that we compare ZoS with blizzard but i think it is good reason if you have play WoW back in 2004 those world boss did drop some really good reward yes the longer respawn time few day if i reminder or was weeks i dont reminder to 100% but thing is to make game and people want come back again and agian you have to try to make want those item.

Fact is ZoS need to sit down look over how the reward us for honest replay on something is not worth do them more then 1 time and honest most of quest reward is only money if i lvl up or quest at the end game i would get gear that i can use as well as money but again ZoS think it is better for us to carft gear and only reward us with gold.

Same go for the so call dalies we have the get bored really fast for you can basically do them over and over again so you get bored out of mind again look how blizzard have done the just made that you only make few dalies in one zone per day and the reputation base and the have so call reputation vendor sell item/gear/weapon that people want, i know that ESO dont have reputation like that in game but i think how dalies work today is not work out as it was plan to.

+1 to the unrewarding part for me. I finally hit cp160 and just hit a wall in wanting to progress further. I did Caldwell's Silver just for the motif.

That below is just me whining like a brat, but whatever. :)

But my issue is the gear hunt. I really like the motifs I've collected/bought. I enjoy just varied I can make my gear look with all the different options. So then doing a dungeon/pledge becomes meh to me. I lose out in the excitement of what the reward might be since I know I won't wear the gear, even if it's a nice upgrade.

Especially those god awful helms people wear. I think they are supposed to be good or something, but they look ridiculous and I have absolutely no desire to progress my character to get one.

Same even goes for doing DLC quests. I was excited the first time I got a purple container, but then I quickly realized it was either going to the drop or the less that adequate crafted gear I was wearing. Well, the less than adequate gear that has the style I want wins out.

If I could just convert my drops to a known motif or have something like the transmogifier from WoW I would be good to go.

And yes there are costumes, but there's only so much of that I can take.

Endgame ESO is really PvP. It has the most depth and challenge and is very rewarding especially if you play with a coordinated group.

If PvP isn't your thing... well it seems like ESO has a pretty good amount of group PvE content, but the replay value of that probably isn't as much. Eventually it becomes predictable.

Not sure how many characters you have, but rolling an alt (different class) can be very refreshing too.

I only can speak for myself , i think the endgame is not boring but the way how to obtain skills or gear
on the long run needs improvement asap.

I love todo things that give me APs, Telvar Stones but it should be more challenging and the stuff I can buy from
such currencies must be worth to buy for my class. I mean just buying gear for any currency is something I never really like in any MMO.

With exception of DAOC because you could buy skills, that was smart for PvP because you could still work on your builds and improve your character. In ESO you just get titles for PvP.

That's my issue with ESO sometimes, it's unfinished when it comes to provide endgame motivation when your class is maxed.
In DAOC your progress of class development actually started with PvP. That was awesome.

Now look at ESO the best example is next DLC, we can raid cities but what is the motivation on a long run , it's just a nother switch the flag mechanism and most of us will have fun with it the first 2-3 weeks and then it's totally useless and people ask for something new again.

They should motivate players with clever rewards in exchange for their achieved currencies.
Don't just provide stupid gear like any other boring MMO it makes no sense on a long run.

Same with IC why would I bother with shrines or flags for my alliance?
To get more currency spending on crap?

I agree that ESO has some really nice ideas in how to obtain currencies, but it just makes no sense.
Exactly that is the problem with endgame it's not rewarding, it only keeps players busy for nothing.

If endgame feel boring and unrewarding I see 2 possible solutions for you:

1: stop playing. There is no more enjoyment for you to be had. I se no reason anybody should play a game that is boring to them.

2: Start a new character. If you enjoy the leveling aspect.

    You chose a third option:

Complain on the forums and keep playing (I assume).

    Which doesn't solve anything?

I'm not making fun or being a smartass. Looking at this with objective lenses.
