Fairly certain that it is ZOS insulting the players (customer) with this stat.
So, basically, ZOS is outright saying they hate their hardcore fans.
For a change, I completely agree with ZOS - if only 3% of players maxed out their storage it means no need to simply increase storage. If you have not maxed it means you don't want storage, you want FREE storage - which is completely different requirement, and honestly I don't see why it has to be fulfilled.
Another story is additional storage you pay for, I'd really would like to be able to craft wardrobe/weapon rack with crafting price similar or even higher than target dummy.
Wait.. did they honestly explain the lack of storage for houses with people not upgrading their bank/inventory? Or did I misinterpret this?

No. No I'm not.anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »
You're making a lot of assumptions there. If someone didn't complete a chapter in the main quest, that doesn't mean that they abandoned the game. It just means that they didn't do the main quest. Maybe they didn't care for it and they just wanted to explore all of the zones. Maybe they just wanted to run dungeons. Maybe they just wanted to PVP. Maybe they just haven't gotten around to it yet.Prof_Bawbag wrote: »as you can see almost 1/3 of the people that started the game abandoned the game soon after leaving the tutorial and more than half before chapter 2.

You can buy a lot of stuff in the Crown Store. I don't want any of it and have so many crowns that I don't know what to do with ('cause I'm still subscribing), but, still... you can buy a lot of stuff in the crown store.

Of course they're not all running around doing other things. The point is you really can't use those statistics for anything at all other than exactly what they show - or at least not without a lot more different data points that you simply don't have access to. For the record, I'm saying that as a professional. I do risk-based statistical analysis for a living.Prof_Bawbag wrote: »You're making a lot of assumptions there. @ UrQuan
Only 12.1% of people achieved the rank of recruit. Isn't that the rank you get just by stepping into Cyrodiil? Only 12% have captured a keep/lumber mill or mine, yet it's one of the easiest and most natural achievements you can earn. I got it before getting my first kill.
Not completely disagreeing with you, but due to the delves percentages being around the 1.3 - 0.2% mark, I highly doubt 60-odd percent of people are now running around doing other things. The lvl 50 stat (12.3%) also says not many of those people hung around for any great length of time

What's that? That was just a typo? Well what the hell am I supposed to do with all of these crows?

It's the hardcore fans who really push the envelope of a game, who create videos that go in-depth to game mechanics, show strategies, offer advice, create websites, work on social networks and help promote the game. Word of mouth is very strong, and it's often the the hardcore players who create the communities, massive guilds and do a lot of work to create bonds which keep players in game. The hardcore players are those few souls who craft gear for free for guildies, who help others run dungeons after they're tired of running it 100+ times because of lack of content.
And we're being told that because most players DON'T upgrade all their gear it's impossible for use to get even a small addition to our bank space? We're the people who create theory builds, test armor and go above and beyond. Yeah, we're not the average player base, but we're also not asking for a lot. We're just asking for more storage.
It's disrespectful to be told that we can't have more storage because most players don't upgrade and max out their storage. Do you know WHY we have so much gear? Because ZOS made almost every set worth getting bind on pickup. We don't want to carrying around a crapload of gear, but it's not like we can easily get it back if we sell or deconn it. No, I really DON'T want to rerun every trial 20-30 times in the hopes of rebuilding a set if I need it.
ZOS created this problem. Now we're being told it's the other players who are at fault because we can't have nice things.
I like ZOS, I do, and they made a really great game that I love to support... but this is flat out insulting.
How about we upgrade our bag space. It's supply and demand. You want storage without any effort or sacrifice. Get over it. You could have already maxed your bag space in the time it took you to write the forum post.
