Nmol is easy, the motif is cheap in game... if ppl want to spend 6k crowns let them it's their loss

The motif should be earned by doing the trial, not because you had IRL money to spare. People worked hard to earn those motifs, and this feels like they are kinda being cheated out of their hard work.

Are you joking? Most people who have the whole motif for that bought some or all of the pages. I know I bought most of the pages for it from guild stores. That motif has never been a sign of hard work, especially since so many people got tons of pages through running mini-Maws.
Besides, almost every motif in the game has shown up in the crown store, although they typically don't show up until months after they're introduced when people have had plenty of time to try to get them in-game if they were interested in them.

P2W? How is it P2W?
It's a motif. It does not enhance your characters stats in any way.

Youre missing the forest for the trees here.
Its not about the individual motif. Its about where this company is going with price-gouging customers. Especially when the item itself is not of high quality and is a digital item that is not outright owned after the purchase.

Actually, I would expect that Yokudan (along with Draugr and Celestial) will most likely eventually end up in the crown store along with all of the others that have ended up there. I have a feeling that Akaviri will remain an exception to the rule, though, as I feel like ZOS introduced it in large part as a way for PVPers to make gold from their AP, so I don't think they'll undermine that by putting it in the crown store. I could be wrong on that, of course.
MMO's are a business. What do businesses need to stay in the black?

"There’s no real world stuff reaching in to grab you." (Few things break immersion quicker than a game telling you that you can spend cash to unlock chests or get special gear.)
ZOS_MattFiror wrote:The Elder Scrolls games are all about allowing the player to go where they want, be who they want, and do what they want. We feel that putting pay gates between the player and content at any point in game ruins that feeling of freedom, and just having one small monthly fee for 100% access to the game fits the IP and the game much better than a system where you have to pay for features and access as you play. The Elder Scrolls Online was designed and developed to be a premium experience: hundreds of hours of gameplay, tons of depth and features, professional customer support - and a commitment to have ongoing content at regular intervals after launch. This type of experience is best paired with a one-time fee per month, as opposed to many smaller payments that would probably add up to more than $14.99/month any way.
