A token system could not come soon enough.
I for myself have run vMsA countless times and still have not seen a single sharpened Bow.
A weapon propably EVERY other person running vMsA has already.
On the other hand i have got 5 sharpened Inferno. But what for? Best thing i could use 3 of them for, is making a video of me deconstructing them...
A little voice in my head says: Please let them increase gear level cap to 180 so everyone will quit the game and ZO$ can see what they have done...

Really Wow...
I've got 4 Sharpened Bow's and I've only run it about 25 times. It seemed to me Bows had a high drop rate. Bows and Resto staffs, that's all I get.

Why people wait for token system?
Let's present that every weapon costs one thousand tokens (runs). Are you ready for it? I believe people will cry more and more about worth of it.
Lol @token system. Why not ask them to drop from crafting writs as well? Or just to buy them for gold since you want it guaranteed to everyone anyway and this game has no dungeon cooldowns or expansions increasing the gear level, so at some point everyone will have the weapons if they are guaranteed.

Yes this is a sick joke, more than half of my drops have been restos and SnB. Wait for Homestead if you're in for the grinding:
Adjusted the distribution of Maelstrom weapons obtained from the Maelstrom Arena via the Leaderboards and drops.
- Previously, this was divided evenly by weapon category (Destruction Staff, Two Hand, etc). Now, it is based on the individual item type (Dagger, One Handed Sword, etc), and all damage weapons within the item type have an equal probability to drop.
- In addition, when a Dual Wield weapon is awarded, you will receive two Dual Wield weapons.
- We also slightly reduced the drop chance for Healing Staves, Bows, and One Hand and Shields.

What's wrong if they're guaranteed to eventually get their weapons that they've earned by beating the content? What's fair about people getting their preferred drops on the first handful of runs and others hundreds of runs later not getting their weapons? No one's asking for 1 token per clear=weapon of your choice.

There is a world of difference between giving everyone VMA weapons, and establishing a mechanism so that if a skilled player runs the content (most difficult solo instance in the game), they will eventually get what they are after if they put in a reasonable, but predictable, amount of work.
Anybody that supports the current system falls into one of 4 classes:
1. They are a masochist and like the pain of a potentially never-ending grind.
2. They got lucky and got what they needed on the first few runs.
3. They dont care because they cant complete the content anyways.
4. They are a troll that likes to argue and poke fun at other people with legitimate complaints.

Because you don't earn anything. You're playing the game and get loot if you're lucky. That's how BIS loot should be at least. And if it's meant to be rare , that means that if time tends to infinity, the number of weapon owners is still small.Oreyn_Bearclaw wrote: »Lol @token system. They aren't putting any work, they are playing game and having fun. If they aren't having fun, they don't have to run vMA. And if everyone who wants something, gets it, then it's not rare. That's like MOBA or something.
What is wrong with having rare items in the game? And not just rare cosmetics, but also something rare and meaningful.
