Master Crafters and Unused Inspiration

I'd like to suggest that if a crafter is maxed to 50 and has the skill points maxed for the material & quality it would be beneficial to allow Inspiration (the crafting experience we STILL receive even though we don't need it) be banked and traded for the new voucher currency that can be spent at the Master Writ merchant once the Housing update drops next month. I believe most crafts give around 20K inspiration when you turn in the current daily writs. I was thinking 100k Inspiration to 1 voucher. It's not a lot, but it would have purpose compared with it's current status.

Maybe we could get one or two vouchers upon finishing normal writs with characters who are max leveled in the profession instead of inspiration.

^ yes, something along those lines... maybe it just converts automatically with no banking, but something in place of the Inspiration is needed.

Unfortunately, I don't like this idea.

Everyone will be doing their writs in Update 13 in an effort to obtain master writs. So, passively turning unused inspiration into writ vouchers is a reward for doing nothing beyond a regular writ turn-in ... where the writ turn-in has its own reward.

Master writs is essentially end game for master crafters ... not end game for lazy crafters. No additional work is required from the player since they're doing writs already.

Even on characters I was leveling and doing writs on, the Inspiration was doing much anyway. I would get as much or more deconning an item or two or making a potion or glyph or two as what the writ was giving me, even the higher level ones. Sure its about 20K Inspiration but making a higher end food or drink gives almost that much, and deconning an intricate item can give even more.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    What nestor said.

I got some nice inspiration from learning all the attributes of all the plants. That leveled up my alchemy for about 10 or 20. Deconning was the only real way I got them leveled. With writs and champion points to get 20% more (forget which tree it is) that helped a lot.

It was always a bit weird to me though that destroying items was the key to leveling rather than actually making them. True artisans gain skill by making and studying. But I guess it is probably better this way because the assumption is you will play the game and get materials to decon.

@85flyingbrick_ESO it's easy and fast to level up a crafting line as it is. Just dump the dropped items into your bank and decon in the chosen character. Have leveled up crafting on new characters in a matter of a couple weeks. Of course time depends on how active one is.

@david19979 we often get inspiration vouchers from doing writs. We get a piece of gear each time and sometimes it's trait offers more inspiration.

I think you misunderstood me, I meant we should get writ vounchers instead of inspiration from crafting writs with characters in no need of more inspiration.

Inspiration is completely pointless when you're already max level in the craft. I would strongly support the idea of getting SOMETHING useful instead of it, be it more gold or an extra drop or, per this idea, a Writ Voucher.
