Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

A few small improvements I'd like to see for sorc pets

-Your pets target whichever enemy you hit with a heavy attack

-Health Bars for pets integrated into the Group UI window (for the sorc only)

-If your weapon is sheathed, your pets will not agro/attack.

-If your weapon is sheathed, your pets follow much closer (to prevent accidental pulls)

Pet Sorc would be a lot more fun to play and more prominent in groups if it was easier to manage your pets. These simple tweaks would help ensure that.

Don't like the first point because if you're heavy attacking multiple enemies the pet could end up running between them too much and not dpsing or holding aggro. The current system for choosing which enemy the pets attack is fine imo.

Health bars don't bother me personally, but I like the last two ideas.

It's the only way I could think of to provide management of which target I want the pet to hit without adding in some skill or altering one.

Far to often my group will pull and my pets will pull an add away from the group and start fighting on its own. There needs to be a way to command your pets to attack a specific target. I often lose DPS because the pets aren't focusing on the right target. I either have to wait on a tank to agro them, let my pet die, or hope they kill it. This terribly inefficient.

You know about the Command Pet function, right?

The keyboard command? Well since I left PC to play PS4 this would be incredibly difficult to manage.

I like your suggestion for the heavy attack command function and setting them to passive mode by sheathing your weapon, that would be a great change.

I also wish they would make them NOT toggles. They should be instant cast to summon but have a few seconds of animation as they materialize before they can attack anything, and then they should persist for a finite amount of time, like 60s or so.

    I want to see:
Daedric prey get the 12s double bang along with being a pet magnet - they will attack your daedric prey target until its dead.

OVERTIME Passive (Replace rebate, persistence or whatever): For 3s (6s at rank 2) after you swap bars active toggles will stay active even if they are not on the new bar. if you swap back before the "overtime period" ends the powers continue as normal. if you do not swap back in time, the toggles turn off.

OT will give your toggles the same power they have now if you keep double barring them. However if you want to take the chance, you can leave them off one bar and hope you just stay there a few seconds. thats fine for a buff bar in and out quickly - as long as no CC gets you or no sudden need to block.

Note that while it is my intent for OT to apply to all the toggles it could be just under daedric summons and be for those toggles.

    @TheNuminous1

Kind of. If you use Encase your Pet will go in and fight one of the mobs that were snared. There are other skills that do this like Lightening Splash etc. Anyway, I use an Encase, then let the pet engage one of the mobs, I focus on the others. I can usually get a mob down before the encase ends and then take on the 3rd if its there. Meanwhile, the pet holds aggro on the mob they engaged to start with. Sometimes they even draw aggro on one of the mobs that gets released. Its not as elegant as using the Y Key on the PC, but it is something.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
