It is. Been unbalanced since launch. Nothing EVER gets fixed. If it does they prioritize *** that makes 0 sense first. ✭✭✭It's not anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be.
- Questing and Story based content is fantastic with some great story if you life that kind of thing.
- PvE Dungeons and Trials are pretty great and a lot of fun.
- One Tamriel means you can go anywhere regardless of level, some see this as good, some see this as bad.
- PvP balance is a bit 'eh' atm. Class balance is ok, just set and armour balance is a bit messed up right now to the proc set meta.
- Dueling is also a bit screwed as Heavy Armour is a bit too powerful at giving resources.
People who say the game is in a terrible state and it sucks are just PvPers who are bored of being screwed over time and time again, which is justified as lag is horrendous and balance isn't great.

It's great, don't listen to nay sayers, the game is the best it's been, you should buy the DLC mega pack
Forum is toxic, people never stop complaining and undermine the good, obviously the game is not that bad if it's still growing
PvP unbalances are the main unbalance, I love Pve
Find out yourself, just don't let forum toxicity kill what may be a great experience for you14 -

✭To ne honest, im generally happy with the game, thats why I play it. There are of course room for improvement, but thats a given. The forums can be extremely toxic and generally the whining is way over dramatic. Id day sub to try the new dlcs and see what you think.
Nothing EVER gets fixed, please, and there hasnt been content in a year? Seriously, Shadow of the hist was released aug 1st and brotherhood in May. And one tameriel was a massive free update to the game.
I have only played for a year and half but there are updates all the time. Balance is an issue but next patch is mostly going in the right direction. In all honesty, what mmo has perfect balance?2 -

Yes they are, and with the changes soon coming to Cyrodiil, it should be a much more enjoyable, and busy, place to hunt them.- Are those shard thingies and books still in Cyrodiil as well? (I got a great story about one of my shard hunting expeditions in Cyrodiil)

As is always the case; find out if the game is good for you. Some love the game and are still playing away happily, some hate it and have moved on to other things, and of course some whine about it constantly but still play it (very confusing that one).
Go in with an open mind. Whilst not everything has been modified for the better, on the whole things are far improved since launch, ZoS has been working hard.If you can be anything, be kind.4 -

✭My two highest level characters are a stamina Nightblade and a magicka Sorc, both played since launch. From what I've seen, the game in general has gotten easier, so my stamblade doesn't get chewed up as easily as she did at launch, and pet builds are getting a buff next patch, so if that's a skill you've leveled you can look forward to that.
I took a 2-year break myself and came back about six months ago. It's been a blast relearning the game... a lot of little things have changed (most for the better). As others have said, don't listen to the naysayers. Just dive in and judge for yourself. Living vicariously through my characters.

✭✭Balance is tremendously improved since launch. You can now make a pretty viable character for PVP or PVE with any of the four classes and stamina or magicka flavor, light, medium or heavy armor.1 -

ArcVelarian✭✭✭✭✭This isn't even the same game as two years ago as far as gameplay is concerned. The Champion system was a fantastic replacement for "veteran" levels. At the very least you should come back to check out the DLC zones.

Yep lol complaints all the time...honestly the game is a a lot of fun and PvE especially is great, not much of a PvP'er myself but I do know it's laggy and unbalanced but still loads of fun. Don't let the vocally upset sway your opinions.

If you did all the endgame content back then you won't find anything new besides two trials and four dungeons. That's really not much endgame content added in the last 2 years.
